WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE ARE:

My name is Nigel Wingrove and I run the film company Salvation Films which specialises in the sale and distribution of horror and exploitation films through its various film labels including Redemption, Jezebel, Purgatory and Sacrament. We currently have distribution for these in the UK and the USA. Separately to our horror films we also created an online community of alternative models and performers called the Satanic Sluts.

The Satanic Sluts are an all female collective of up to 666 alternative and transgressive women that was formed in 2003. Initially its members specialised in modelling and burlesque performances, with members of the Satanic Sluts appearing regularly at the notorious Black Mass club, Madame Jo Jo's and The Stock Rooms in central London.

As their notoriety and infamy grew so did the media coverage that the Satanic Sluts received with members being featured regularly in magazines like Metal Hammer, Bizarre and Video World. Next came a dedicated photographic book, Blood & Dishonour, posters, websites and DVDs of their performances.

Later, in 2008, the Satanic Sluts found themselves at the centre of one of the biggest UK scandals in recents years,'Sachsgate', involving Russell Brand, TV presenter Jonathan Ross, Andrew Sachs, the actor famous for playing Manuel in the comedy series Fawlty Towers, and Georgina Baillie, aka Voluptua of the Satanic Sluts, who is Sach's granddaughter and whose sexual exploits with Brand scandalised the nation. 

Now there is a new, second generation of girls reinventing the Satanic Slut brand. Moving from the stage to the screen the Satanic Sluts are now working with a variety of directors, including some of the original Satanic Sluts, and creating a revolutionary take on the presentation of erotic material. Experimental, entertaining, creative, transgressive, and challenging, the Satanic Sluts are once again leading the way and mixing up our concepts of eroticism, film, music and art. 

Exploitation cinema rather than exploitative cinema.

WHAT WE ARE DOING?

I was a Frankenstein Nymphomaniac Girl is one of a series of Satanic Sluts films that we are making in 2015, our aim being to produce at least two new films every month. We work with a variety of directors and currently have several films in production (The Girl with the Orange Nails, She Comes in Colours, The Girl in the Red Boots) and a slate of some thirty titles lined up for the year, including I was a Frankenstein Nymphomaniac Girl.

WHAT IS 'I WAS A FRANKENSTEIN NYMPHOMANIAC GIRL' ABOUT?

A mad scientist obsessed with creating a living human from the remains of dead bodies creates a female monster but there is one problem, she lacks a brain! Then the scientist's ghastly assistant accidentally knocks over a drunk woman and brings her body to the scientist's laboratory. Unknown to the doctor is that this woman had a pathological condition and suffered from nymphomania, an uncontrollable and excessive sexual desire.

Once the new brain is implanted in the monster the scientist realises his terrible mistake...

WHO IS INVOLVED IN THE FILMS?

Although we shoot on very small budgets everyone involved is paid and we allow the individual directors and performers as much creative freedom as possible, the main criteria being that these films should be adventurous, fun and well made within the aesthetic of the Satanic Slut brand. To that end these productions often involve musicians, fashion, set designers, and creatives from the fetish and arts scene as well some great models and performers. They can also be a lot of fun to make.

WHAT WE ARE DOING?

Although we have some funding and distribution in place in both the US and the UK for these films, shooting several a month is expensive for us and we thought that trying to get some additional funding though INDIEGOGO.COM would be worth a shot.  Also given the nature of our films and the Satanic Sluts we needed to reach a more enlightened and cooler audience than would be available to us through mainstream funding sources. 

We will be setting up individual project pages for each of our 2015 films together with film tie-in pages on Facebook, Twitter and so on. Each budget will be the same, $7,500, and if we raise less on one title we will make up the difference as all of these films will be made. If we raise more than the target $7,500 then the additional monies will be rolled over to fund another title and so on.  

WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN THESE FILMS!

The Satanic Slut Collection is an exciting and fun range of films which really will try out new ideas and new ways of presenting eroticism. Some titles will, no doubt, be more successful than others, but as a collection they will be successful, and they will get talked about and make waves. It is what we do and we are good at it!
