The Film
Homecoming is a story about a college freshman returning home for the first time, only to say goodbye to his past, one which he has a complicated love/hate relationship with.
The film's themes include the harmfulness of denial, the myth of true closure, and (most of all) suburban boredom!
We're drawing inspiration from other coming-of-age films like Mid90s, Pineapple Express, American Graffiti, and Superbad. We noticed that there were no coming of age films that tackled someone's first summer back home... and that's where the idea for HOMECOMING was born from!

The Impact
While we all have experience in making short films through the Loyola Marymount Film School, this is our first venture into the world of features and your donations will lift a great financial barrier of entry from our shoulders. We have already assembled a talented crew of LMU students and recent grads. We hope this movie can kickstart our careers in the film industry. Essentially, you're not just investing in a film, you're investing in us!
Thank You!
