About

Justice Gold is a short comedy film where a widowed pensioner decides to fight crime as the superhero; Justice Gold

Story

Arthur, a retired pensioner, lives alone following the passing of his wife. A lifelong admirer of superheroes and what they stand for, Arthur decides to stand for justice after witnessing a pickpocketing in his neighbourhood.  Dawning the name Justice Gold, he combats crime in his community and discovers the difficulties of life as a superhero.

Why Make This?

We live in the amazing time where superhero blockbuster movies are released every year, and so I believe everyone should contribute to this.

A large budget with huge CGI action scenes does not make a great superhero movie – the passion and efforts of all involved does – as Indie films can have the impact of any Hollywood movie.  Because of this, I want to show originality and passion with my superhero concept.

The Team

Jaden Randall: Writer Director

I am a student studying Filmmaking about to graduate. I have known that I've wanted to make films ever since I was 13 years old. I was inspired by movies like Spiderman, X-men and Batman and have always wanted to make a superhero movie.  I have had five years experience in making promotional videos, short films and documentaries. I have also directed a multi camera live drama as well as a variety of radio and video games.

Amber Marshall: Producer

I'm very passionate about organisation and making things happen, this is why I am the producer for this project. Justice Gold spoke to me on a personal level as my grandparents have been my superheroes throughout my life and I believe anyone can be a hero. I have been producing films for two years and my own online content for nine and can't wait to take on the challenge.

Sergejs Bozoks: Director of Photography

I have dedicated years of my life to explore and learn more about how light works and how with the help of different lenses and different cameras one can achieve desired emotional impact on the viewer. I have worked with the director, Jaden Randall, of the film on several projects. We like each other’s style of work and we have developed a shorthand communication and understanding. My Motto is: If film were all about the story I would quite image making now and move onto radio plays. There is enormous potential to enhance the story through visual means.

Georgina Frier: Costume Designer

Hi my names Georgina and I am the Costume  designer for this project. I have a background in games development which I would say heavily influences how I go about my work. My inspirations are Eulyn C Womble and Katia Stano. I am incredibly excited to be working again with this incredibly talented group and am certain we can bring a fantastic piece to you.

What We Need

We are looking to raise £600 to pay for actors, food, costume  and transport.

Locations

Justice Gold will mostly use outdoors locations to show Arthur as he fights crime and combats the difficulties of having a superhero identity.

Risks & Challenges

Since this is a university project we have a short deadline to create this. However we are filming this in Britain; and so we are at the mercy of the British weather. Despite this, we are very confident in our goal.

Thank you.
