We currently have functional prototypes for Kibbi and Kibbi Sensor, with your help we can get Kibbi finished and into your home... perfecting the GUI for the mobile apps, tooling, packaging, certification testing and getting first production run going.

FAQ.
Can Kibbi connect
with my other devices?
We’ll be releasing a SDK so developers can make their own
applications, integrate into existing systems, build a school/college project,
or just about anything that comes to mind really. The SDK will allow you to communicate with
the either the Kibbi Sensors directly using Bluetooth Low Energy, or the
complete Kibbi system over Wi-Fi/Ethernet using our JSON API.
Will my pet
activate Kibbi’s motion detection?
For Kibbi, we have developed an advanced object profiling
to identify your pet(s) to prevent false alerts. Similar to the way a camera
can identify where people’s faces are.
What happens in
the event of a power-cut?
Kibbi has battery backup (4 x AAA batteries), and also a
USB port for a data network stick so Kibbi can keep protecting your home for a
few hours even if the power is lost. You will be notified on your phone that
mains power has been lost. If you don’t use a data network stick then our
servers will detect your Kibbi is offline and we’ll let you know.
I don’t want to
use your Cloud service or I don’t want to enable Live Stream, can they be turned
off?
Yes, Kibbi has been designed to offer the services and
level of protection you are comfortable with. You can choose to save video
footage locally and live streaming can be completely switched off. Because
Kibbi has Bluetooth connection, these feature settings can only be set locally,
not over the Internet.

iOS devices running iOS 7.1 or newer with Bluetooth 4.0
support.
Android devices running Android 4.4 or newer with
Bluetooth 4.0 support.
Windows Phone devices with Bluetooth 4.0 support.
Can multiple
phones be used with a Kibbi?
Yes, you can have multiple users and you can set
different levels of control for different users. For example your child may be
able to activate/deactivate Kibbi, but can’t change the setup configuration.

We plan to begin shipping Kibbi in March 2015.
What are the
shipping and customs costs?
Shipping is free in the UK and US. There are shipping
costs to the rest of the world, details can be found in the perks section on
the top right of the page. Any tax or customs charges are the responsibility of
the purchaser.
What warranty will
Kibbi come with?
Kibbi products will come with a 12 month warranty against
manufacturing defects.
