Hi, I'm an English writer and artist in Miami looking forward to making my first movie, 'Killer Eyes'.

The movie will follow Cleo, who gets out of prison for serving two years for aggravated assault - she shot her boyfriend for cheating on her.

She ends up  killing drug lord Jimmy Malone in revenge for her brother's death, and along the way falls in love with Benicio, a friend from her childhood. The story covers a few of her kills and has some interesting characters like the priest who's interested in having a hit done, and the Santeria priestess who employs Cleo to do hits. There are some great fight scenes.

The $50,000 is for me to have the time and resources to make a great movie and look after the cast properly  - at least feed them! - and have the resources for great locations, costumes and sets. I don't want to ask everyone to work for free like a lot of beginning directors do, would definitely like to pay the cast something.

 

Whatever is raised will go to the movie. I don't believe making a successful movie has to be expensive - look at the recent success of 'Tangerine' at the Sundance Film Festival or the 'Blair Witch Project.'

 Film badly needs strong female leads and Cleo is definitely that! You can contribute to changing the film climate for women and presenting strong female characters rather than victims.
