Who we are:
We are Edward King and Robert Miller. We are passionate about being on the water and sharing that experience with others.

Captain Ed grew up sailing and spending time on the water in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is currently a sailing instructor and earned his USCG credentials earlier this year. He is a seasoned sailor and navigator who loves to share his knowledge of the water and outdoors with everyone he meets. He is also a United States Marine Corps Veteran and works with veterans as his day job.

Robert grew up outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma and currently resides in Naples which is the future home location of King Charters. Robert has years of experience fishing the waters in and around the Southwest Florida region. Robert's passion for teaching people how to fish comes from the excitement of the catch and he's known to hook one and hand the rod off so someone else can get the experience of reeling them in.
We met over 10 years ago working in the corporate/non-profit world in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Through that connection we quickly found that we share similar values and passions when it comes to water sports, fishing, experiencing the outdoors, and life in general. This led to a friendship and brotherhood that has lasted through cross country moves, inevitable life changes, and even some significant others.
What's the goal?
Our goal with this campaign is to raise a minimum of $1500 for the purchase of audio visual equipment that will allow us to launch our social media presence on November 1, 2021.
The objective is to use that presence to build a following across mainstream social media platforms that will provide the exposure we need for future trip reservations when we launch the charters in the Summer of 2022. The social media presence will also allow us to develop contacts for future funding campaigns as we grow the business and consolidate operations in Naples.

What's the difference about King Charters?
There's a lot of content out there and most of it is for funding someone's lifestyle and then about entertainment and learning. We get it, and we're cool with it, but it's just not for us. Our goal is to provide content that informs, trains, and entertains.
Additionally, we will also focus on the environment and ecology of the Southwest Florida area providing videos and information, when available, on the efforts to maintain and conserve this amazing area of the Gulf of Mexico.
We want the world to share our passion, not just watch us having fun.
What's your biggest risk?
Our biggest challenge is developing a following that we can also convert into guests for the charters.
We plan on accomplishing this two ways:
- By remaining true to our purposes as mentioned above and,
- By you our family, friends, and acquaintances spreading the word as far an wide as possible.
What if I can't contribute monetarily?
Even if you can't help us out monetarily, you can still help us. Get the word out, tell someone about these two crazy dudes you know who are starting an adventure company, or just let someone know "hey, these guys have a cool idea and they're going for it, let's help them out," and Indiegogo sharing tools makes it simple.
