Kerameikos moments from our blog: http://latraac.tumblr.com/
With a history spanning back to classical antiquity, Kerameikos provides the context to the project with a historical and cultural mix of archaeology, neoclassical buildings, street art, a traditional Roma community and an emerging China town. This successful diversity makes an ideal home for transition skateboarding in Athens.

LATRAAC gardeners Isabel and Miyon
Green is the new black. Naturalists and
professional gardeners Miyon and Isabel are the
curators of the
LATRAAC garden.
Native varieties of plants are being used to provide shade and create a lush green setting, but also to
promote environmental awareness and
sustainability as well as establish a
platform for sharing knowledge and information about plants and
gardening through LATRAAC workshops.
Free Entrance/Social Business
Entrance to LATRAAC will be free. Revenue will be generated through the licenced garden tea house and the hosting of community engaging, arts and crafts events. By combining urban gardening with transition skateboarding LATRAAC will appeal to a broader spectrum of people culturally cross pollinating between a range of activities and social groups.
