Short Summary

Hi! My name is Anne Connolly and I have been an artist and a teller of stories from the moment I first picked up a crayon! Over the past 30 years I have also tried to inspire students of all ages to work hard, be good and feel strong through the martial art of Tae kwon do. I care deeply about how students learn and I frequently use my artistic and creative skills when I teach. Here's a photo of one of the paintings I made of a giant, life-size prehistoric mammal, so that students could experience just how big the animals were when we cover prehistoric life in Tae kwon do camp.

I have spent my whole adult life trying to help people. Now, I am combining my desire to contribute to the world we live in, with my love of art, literature and education, to create a great series of books to help children learn and educators teach. These entertaining books feature:

When you buy a book you'll be contributing to the

• cost of formatting and scanning the books for printing
• cost of printing the books
• the computer program (photo-shop or indesign ) to add the text to the illustrations
• the cost of delivering your books to you

The time frame

• We have 60 days to raise the capital 
  
• It takes about a week to produce the proofs
• If the proofs are awesome it takes about 5 weeks to print the books
• Then, we pack the books up and deliver them (This depends on how many books we are shipping, but I'll have lot's of help!)
• That's if everything happens on schedule, I'll keep you updated on face book (Anne Connolly) if we fall behind or get ahead!
  
• If we exceed the funding goal, you'll be supporting new books with awesome stories, beautiful illustrations, positive messages and cleverly embedded educational lessons for children and teachers to enjoy! (Several more stories are already written and  are in the sketchbook design phase) Here are some sketches for a funny story in the design phase, about a herd of hiding Hs!

 BOOK COVER ART FOR THE FIRST 4 BOOKS IN THE SERIES

All the illustrations for the first three books are finished (1st book. The Small Shy S Who Changed the World, 2nd book. Eeeevolve! 3rd book.The Good Llittle G)
All the illustrations for the forth book, X-Quest! are complete as line drawings but need to be shaded and colored. I'm going to try and have the 4th book finished by the end of the fund raiser but it might take a little longer. Because you may have to wait a little longer for X-Quest!, everyone who orders all 4 books will receive a free poster.
