Logline
A 20 something skate videographer in 90's San Diego, on hearing about the death of his mother, must go home to Idaho in order to fix his relationship with his estranged father.
Director's Note
When I came up with the idea for Love Your Mother, I never thought it would go this far. I wanted to create a story that explored topics of family, faith, grief, and forgiveness but I wasn’t sure that I would be able to tell a story that explored those well.
I was interested in exploring a different time period than today and the 90's felt perfect for the story. Part of the film will be shot using a 90's VHS camera and setting the film in the 90's was integral to making that work.
An incredible film is only possible with the help of incredible people. While I have assembled an amazing crew who are all as passionate about telling this story as I am, I am still looking for people willing to support me and my team's vision by helping fund the production of Love Your Mother.
It will take roughly $8,000 dollars to make this movie. I’m not asking you to give me all $8,000. That would be slightly ridiculous (but you totally could if you wanted to). What I am asking is for you to consider donating whatever you can to make this concept a reality.
Thank you to every last one of you for believing in this project enough to stick around and click on the IndiGoGo link. Your support, whether it is by donation or through sharing the story of Love Your Mother is greatly appreciated.
