ABOUT THE SHOW
Mac's Mixtape is an interactive, shoppable show in the form of a 1-hour scripted television drama. This is an independently produced, non-union production. The show is set in the sizzling city of Phoenix, Arizona with scenes slated to be filmed at some of the city's most iconic locations. The entire cast and crew are comprised of local residents and are the perfect blend of seasoned professionals and incredible up-and-coming talent.

A SHOPPABLE SHOW?
That's right! Shoppable! Mac's Mixtape will premiere with the simultaneous launch of the interactive streaming platform StrmShp (pronounced Stream Shop). Through original brand-sponsored content, viewers can watch a show and purchase the featured products placed within the show by clicking directly on the product and adding it to their cart for immediate checkout. StrmShp is a platform where creators and retailers collaborate to tell stories to shared audiences.
WHY ARE WE FUNDRAISING?
Producing a non-union television show independently is very rarely done. For decades, Hollywood studios have controlled which shows get a green light for production and when, where, and how those greenlit shows get made. Not to mention, these studios also decide who gets paid, how much they get paid, and for how long they get paid residuals (queue the writers AND actors strike).
Producing Mac's Mixtape independently will allow us to make the show on our own terms! AND by making the show shoppable, we are allowing opportunities for writers and the principal cast to share revenue generated directly from the episode that they participated in creating (*clears throat* - take note studios that shall remain nameless).
We're doing something that has never been done before. This is a new frontier and with that comes great risks which has made it challenging to acquire funds the traditional way. So, we're asking friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and the local grocery store clerk (really... anyone who believes in this project) to support us by contributing what they can to our cause. Not only is t-commerce (television commerce) projected to be the next innovative cyber wave to hit the market, but our business model for profit sharing with our writers and talent is one that we believe will revolutionize the film and television industry.
HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?
We are raising funds to cover the production (cast, crew, etc.) and post-production costs for the show's teaser. We will also use the funds for pre-production costs for the pilot episode. The teaser will serve as a proof-of-concept for both the show's premise and the shoppable element. We will also use the proof-of-concept to build a fan base and as a tool to continue to raise funds and acquire brand sponsors for the pilot episode. The teaser will be available to watch on both YouTube and StrmShp.
THE CAST
Mac's Mixtape is considered a Female Urban Drama, which takes place in Phoenix, Arizona. With that, it was essential for us to ensure that our cast reflects the diversity and culture that is truly representative of the city. The show stars Sheriee Nicole (How to Make A Reality Star), Greg Minor (Anarchy Radio), Cynnita Agent (Sunday Dinners), and Adrianna Licitra (The Sealer).

THE CREW
Mac's Mixtape was created by Sheriee Nicole (How to Make A Reality Star). As an award-winning independent Producer, Sheriee prides herself in creating independent, non-union projects which showcase up-and-coming talent. Being an Arizona native, it was always her dream to film a show that she created in her home state. So after 14 years of living in Los Angeles, she returned home to film Mac's Mixtape. The award-winning Director, Irin Daniels (The Unhitch King), and the rest of the crew are also incredibly talented Arizona locals

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
So far, we've been able to film the teaser thanks to the help of some local sponsors and in-kind donations. The teaser is currently in post-production and will be ready for the world to see in just a couple of weeks! However, we still need to pay for post-production, music, and marketing, as well as cover the cost of a few outstanding production items. As we market the teaser, we would like to begin pre-production for the pilot episode, which is also a task associated with costs.
