We have been blown away by the response to our campaign in the first 2 days! Here's some of what the press is saying about the show:
Martin Shkreli's Game has been accepted to the Midtown International Theater Festival!
Wu-Tang Clan members RZA, GZA, and Ghostface Killah are teaming up with Bill Murray to take down Martin Shkreli. But they need your help.
About
Martin Shkreli's Game: How Bill Murray Joined the Wu-Tang Clan is a new musical caper comedy written by Lauren Gundrum and Joel Esher. And it's based on some crazy true events that went down between Wu-Tang and Martin Shkreli last year.
Bill Murray and Wu-Tang are teaming up to steal the album back.
A long, long time ago (December 2015) in a land far, far away (Staten Island), Wu-Tang decided to auction off their one-of-a-kind album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Who should buy it but Martin Shkreli - the evil "pharma bro" who raised the price of Daraprim to $750 a pill and is now on trial for securities fraud.
Yes, this guy.

Martin Shkreli bought the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang masterpiece. For $2 million.
Yikes.
Luckily, the contract allows Wu-Tang one attempt at a heist or caper to steal the album back. Wu-Tang - with a little help from Bill Murray.
This July, Martin Shkreli's Game: How Bill Murray Joined the Wu-Tang Clan will make its debut at the Midtown International Theater Festival in New York City. It's the musical heist you never knew you needed.
And it's based on truth.
Production Budget Breakdown
We have a spot in Midtown International Theater Festival and are committed to putting this production up. However, we are trying to minimize out-of-pocket expenses for the creators. We're writers, after all!
Here's how your contribution will help us:
- Paying people! This is the majority of the cost. We have a cast of 8, a director, board operator, stage manager and band. While these guys are working for a minimal fee, they need to be compensated for their time and talent. ($4900)
- Advertising and promotion ($700)
- Audition and rehearsal space ($500)
- Props ($200)
- Administration and production expenses ($200)
Any funds raised above and beyond will be used for additional rehearsal space, costumes, and hiring additional personnel.

Martin Shkreli is a bad man, and he needs to get his. Bill Murray and Wu-Tang members RZA, GZA, and Ghostface Killah (and maybe even the Ghost of a certain deceased Wu-Tang member) are ready to give it to him, but they need your help in order to do it.
If you can't donate right now - that's ok! There are still a lot of ways to support this project: share on Facebook, Twitter, etc, tell your actor friends about the chance to play their favorite Wu-Tang member, and come see the show!
We are really excited about this project and think it has a ton of potential. Our goal is to get it up in front of an audience, see what's working, continue to develop it, and give you something fun and entertaining! There's no world in which Bill Murray, Wu-Tang, and Shkreli belong together, and yet here they are. Truth is stranger than fiction.
