Hi. My name is Max Minardi. I’m a singer/songwriter from Northern California and I need a hand in funding my first full-length album. I’ve been making a living as a full-time musician for three years performing all over the west coast. BUT most of these performances have involved me singing the songs of other artists. The creation of this album will mark the beginning of my attempt at making a living performing mostly my own material. I’ve spent the last year and a half writing songs and I’ve narrowed the list down to ten that will be on the new album and I absolutely cannot wait to share them with all of you. I’m going to have the privilege of working with some of the most talented musicians, producers, and engineers that I’ve ever met. Now at this point, a lot of musicians might have chosen to go the route of consulting with labels or record companies and I have absolutely nothing against that, but I figured, why not reach out to all of YOU so we can make this happen together. What’s this all going to cost? After taking into consideration everything that I could possibly predict, I’ll need your help in raising $7,000. It’s a daunting figure but together I really think we can do it.
In the beginning of November, I will begin the recording process and hope to be finished with the recording/mixing/mastering by the beginning of March at which point the physical production of the CD’s will begin. As long as everything goes according to plan, the album’s due date is April 8th, 2016.
As a bonus, and in honor of last September being national suicide prevention month, half of any money that we raise together beyond seven thousand will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
