Short Summary
I have been making videos ever since high school, my earliest video I made I was about 12 years old. It so rewarding to see this creativity and imagination take me this far to now putting together a feature film.
As you can see in the introduction video I have been doing this for a while. This is the first time I have asked for help on a project. I have independently funded all of my own films in the past, but to become a better filmmaker and to tell better stories a bigger budget will be needed.
This is important to me because it furthers my career as a director to help me level up to larger scale films.
What We Need & What You Get
Your donation will help achieve a larger scale of a film, more unique locations and more talented crew. It will help pay for the rental of properties as well as salaries for top cast. Some of the homes/apartments we are searching for must fit the high quality lifestyle that some of our characters have in the story.
If the entire goal is not reached, we will use however much we get and I will self fund the rest, some changes might need to be made but we insist on moving forward to make this project come to life.
The Impact
If you have seen my past work then you should see that I have executed multiple short films in the past from inception of the idea to online or opening night release in theaters. I am most proud of my past short films such as Enigma (2019) Amnestic (2020) and my latest short film Neighbors (2021) which has won 2 awards in its festival run.
Risks & Challenges
I always figure out a way to overcome obstacles usually I try to make compromises and changes to the script in order to make the movie still work.
It can be a very stressful and exhausting time shooting a film on a small budget. We're planning 13 hour days several days in a row in some of these locations to carefully capture each shot.
