BOLDLY GOING TO SANDUSKY, OHIO
Yes, you read that correctly! Neutral Zone Studios is relocating to the Sandusky Mall Complex on the shores of Lake Erie! Sandusky is known for its family attractions including water, wildlife, and amusement parks. The mall complex is easily accessible and has ample parking!
Our new location was an anchor store that has moved to a larger location elsewhere within the mall, and it has all the amenities we need to be open year round, especially AIR CONDITIONING (and heat during the winter!) We have already transported two semi-truck loads of the studio to the Sandusky Mall Complex.

WHY MOVE?
Kingsland, Georgia has been a wonderful home for over 10 years. Over the course of time, ceiling leaks, water main breaks cutting off our water supply, mold caused by the former building neighbor, deteriorating drywall and insulation have caused the building to fall into disrepair. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning, heat, and adequate parking have led us to consider a new location.
Over the past five months, finding a studio suitable to fit our sets has been no easy task. Sandusky created the best location for us to keep these sets alive.

WILL THERE BE ANY NEW SETS AT THE NEW LOCATION?
No. We are transporting the sets AS IS to Sandusky. They will be the same beautiful sets in a spectacular new location!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
To complete the mission at hand, we need the support of amazing fans like you to help keep the dream alive for years to come. Your support for Mission Sandusky will allow us to complete many necessary repairs, including recent damage caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, and transporting our ship to its new location.
To this point, all work that has been done has been self-funded. This includes transportation, food, lodging, many hardware supplies, commercial equipment rentals, truck rentals and much more, not including time away from our homes and loved ones.
Our goal is to raise $27,000. All crew involved in the transport and re-fitting of our beloved ship are volunteers feeding their passion for science fiction old and new. Imagination thrives here!!! One fan told us that we are a part of history...

MEET OUR COMMAND CREW
During the last 3 months, a plethora of volunteers have descended on Kingsland to lend their time and talent, but a few have come to the forefront:

SCOTT LYTTLE: Scott is a carpenter and construction coordinator. His work can be seen in movies like Hidden Figures, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Red One, and Star Trek: First Frontier, among other films. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7475127/

MICHAEL SEAN CARTER: Mike is a fan film actor and voice over artist, content creator, and has been the go-to hands-on guy throughout this entire project.

TINA CORDOVA: Tina has not only become a fan film actor and studio manager but is Ray's business partner as well. Tina is a Computer Scientist Engineer, and her decision-making has been invaluable to this project.

JOHN SCHNEIDER: John is a carpentry wizard and has jumped in with both feet.

FRANK NOSALEK: Frank is an extensive electronics and lighting expert and has handled many intricate assignments for us.

MARVIN SHELDON: Marvin is a cosplay designer and prop builder extraordinaire.

DAN SCANLAN: Dan is a 10-year veteran of the studio both in front of and behind the camera, and was involved in the original construction of the studio sets.

TERRI STANFORD: Terri has been our studio caretaker. If the sets look good, then Terri probably did it!

ALLEN ANDERSON: Allen has been a longtime contributor, advocate, and friend.

Special mention to GREG GREENE and ROYAL WEAVER: As two of the original builders back from the Starship Farragut days, Greg and Royal helped construct the overwhelming majority of the sets.
ABOUT US
Neutral Zone Studios launched in 2018 in a 9,600 square foot facility housing a full-scale suite of Constitution Class starship sets including the bridge, transporter room, engineering, sickbay, and much more! Our new location in Sandusky, OH will be 16,000 square feet!

The studio has released over 70 fan films including Starship Farragut, Tales from The Neutral Zone, Dreadnought Dominion, Avalon Universe, many independent productions, and most notably Star Trek Continues. STC Executive Producer, Vic Mignogna, spearheaded the studio’s design and funding, and wrote and starred in all 11 productions.
Neutral Zone Studios is a volunteer run organization. These volunteers have paid their own way to attend the fan weekends, volunteer their time for fan events and fan film productions, frequently contribute their own time and money for the material upkeep of the studio -- all to help keep the dream alive and make this beautiful jewel available for others to enjoy in a family-friendly environment!
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Neutral Zone Studios has always been to provide world-class sci-fi sets to fan films and professional filmmakers. It is NOT a moneymaking enterprise. It is a live film studio dedicated to fan film productions.

We have encountered an unexpected situation that was not that was not anticipated in our crowdfund goal.
A third semi truck arrived at the studio on Sunday October 27. In the course of maneuvering into the loading dock, the driver inadvertently slashed one of its tires. While our volunteers loaded the truck, the driver drove offsite and had the tire repaired.
The Neutral Zone compensated the driver for the repair.
Please help us reach our goal.
