Short Summary
Hi guys, my names Fabio. Im 17 years old and from a town called Eastbourne in East Sussex, UK! I was born in Wales, then moved down south with my family at aged 3. My parents broke up when i was 8 and moved across town to another house with my mum. I now currently live in a flat with my mum. She doesn't have a job and is finding it really hard to live. Im trying my hardest to get a job but they're so hard to find these days for a part time job.
My dad was in the music business back in the 70s, and hes really keen for me to follow in his footsteps. So am i! Music is my passion and to be in the music business is a dream for me.
I play drums, and i got my first drum kit when i was 8. However, the drum kit is at my dads house, who now lives about an hour away out of town, and whenever i tried to play, the neighbours complained. I was forced to take the drum kit down, and i haven't been able to play it in 3 years.
This was very upsetting for both me and my dad. The only chance to get to play the drums is once a week during my drum lessons. I love playing the drums. Its the only thing i consider myself to be good at. This campaign is so important to me, because without my drums and my music, I wouldn't see much point in waking up in the mornings.
What We Need & What You Get
The funding i would love to recieve is around £700. This is would be the perfect amount for a mid-ranged Tama drum kit i found online for about £500. It looks so nice, i cant stop looking at pictures and watching videos of it. The rest of the money would go on to book time at a practice room so i would have a place to play and practice.
I feel i have a natural flare for drumming. and if this compaign were to come true and i were to get the drum kit, my hope is to make a Youtube channel where i would make drum cover videos. I love to entertain people, so making drum covers on Youtube and getting viewers would be so amazing!
The Impact
I feel the project is, first off, exetremely valuable to me. Im not just a 17 year old boy wanting money for doing nothing. This is me trying to chase my dream, and, with your help, i'll be one step closer to accomplishing the things i've only ever dreamt about.
If i were to recieve any money at all after the campaign, i would post videos on Youtube about my progress and make sure all of you guys knew where your money had gone :)
