Nicholas The Voice
Are you ready to slow down, listen with an open heart, and find yourself in another form of awareness?
We are pioneering with the creation of “Nicholas The Voice”, a unique collection of deep and meaningful poems, spoken by the author himself while blended with the sacred sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, planetary gong Venus, koshi chimes and the vibrant sounds of nature. The sound is blended in a manner that gives a deeper experience for the listener.
This profound combination has helped us personally to understand more about ourselves, and the nature of life. We are beyond excited to now share it with you!
Poems
Passion and spirit driven writing and speaking emerges instantly, prolifically, without forethought. It comes directly from the very core of what I am. This is when I enter a zone of awareness where the creative material can then flow into the world, and perhaps change a bit of the world. This kind of inspired writing is what I wish to express from my core as a way of getting clarity out of what was otherwise hidden within.
I wrote most of the material used in the recordings when I lived in the in the wilderness. I lived there for six years. Often I reflect on the "wilderness" and what it means, again as a metaphor, for “the dark night of the soul” or, perhaps, the “rising of the sun”, or “transformation of the seasons”. There is a lot revealed in the quiet of the night where much was written. It was part of my communion with the Creator there in the wilderness of my life.
The writing reveals a lot of myself. In is my observation that to find a relationship, transparency reduces entropy. All relationships require transparency, whether friends, family or lovers, transparency is the core of repentance, forgiveness, and unconditional love.
I believe we meet the image and likeness of God in each person as we remember who we are; we remember the divinity of others also. We also rise up into the essence of our created birthright as co-creators.
Sacred Instruments
For most people, the sacred instruments are mysterious. But they don’t have to be.

Himalayan singing bowls also known as Tibetan Singing Bowls are sacred instruments crafted from seven different metals. Singing bowls are vessels that make a musical “singing” sound when struck or played with a mallet. In addition to a primary tone, singing bowls produce a complex series of subtle overtones that create a uniquely soothing sound. They are used for meditation and sound vibrational therapy.

Koshi chimes are authentic musical instrument. Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube. Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones. The overtones of the shorter chords gradually dominate and become fundamentals, thus forming a circular tone range.

The Gong is one of man’s most powerful tone producers on the planet and the oldest transformational and therapeutic instrument. The Gong sound is organic, deep and nurturing. The “living tones” build upon each other and evolve on their own, producing a sea of sound that is both timeless and alive. The Planetary Gongs are tuned in conformity with the natural harmonic series based in the orbital properties on the Earth, the Moon, the Sun, and the Planets according to calculations of Hans Cousto. Thus, they resonate in harmony with the cycles of the celestial bodies and communicate a distinct aspect of the “music of the spheres”
Our Story
We are very excited about each of you joining together with us in this effort. The project grew organically out of the shared enthusiasm of our team, which includes myself, Nicholas Begich (Alaska, USA), Sabrina Miklavcic (Amsterdam, Nederland), Heikki Savolainen (Helsinki, Finland), and now each of you as our underwriters.
The ideas expressed in my words are the focal point of my current, and I believe, my most important writing and recording project ever, a project I was not intending. Yet, here we are.
I shared my writing with several friends over the years and they all encouraged me to keep writing. Then in early 2017, I sent several poems to Sabrina Miklavcic who I met at a conference in 2012. She immediately was touched by the words and, having also heard my actual voice thought that these verses should be read aloud and recorded. She suggested that the reading, if combined with the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and other unusual sounds, would amplify the depth of the thoughts within the words.
I considered the idea of frequency matching my voice with the sounds Sabrina would generate. The idea that a resonance effect might be created with the combination of the spoken words, emotional texture within them, and the sounds utilized in the compositions was exciting and interesting. The thought was that if they could be composed in such a way as to push the voice modulations into greater power and form. Through the power of resonance, a much greater effect might be realized in the combined word and sound compositions.
The idea of a frequency matched composition and the arrangement of the sounds with the spoken words required a much higher level of technical knowledge in the area of recording engineering. The resourceful Sabrina knew just such a person that could round out the team, Heikki Savolainen, a world recognized expert in sound recording and arrangement with thirty-seven years of experience.
In October 2017 I traveled to Amsterdam to record the first versions utilizing a Dutch recording studio located in the south of Holland. We completed the initial recording and sent them to Helsinki, Finland for Heikki’s. After listening to the recorded words, and being familiar with the sound work of Sabrina he too was hooked and the project team took form in January 2018.
As a collaboration of the three of us in this project our talents and skills are blended into something unique and very different for each of us in the way we approached this project together as a team.
I believe we are all that esoteric, that hidden thing, we are seeking. It was always there. It is in each of us forming our very essence. It is the created image, created in us and through us, and projected into the world to express something. They say a picture paints a thousand words, which is true indeed. At the same time the words paint a different picture. Those images are projected to the reader, by the composer, as “thought-forms” in words. Those words are tools for transfer with even greater emphasis when combined with sound. There is the art of it. So poetry and verse written can carry deeper information in the pulse of it, and through the flow of it, in the very vibration of it, when it is spoken authentically, from our core.
What We Need & What You Get
This crowdfunding effort is intended to help us cover the costs associated with the project. Your funds will help produce, print and ship our CD and Poetry book to you worldwide.
There are over sixty separate selections of original poetry from which ten to twelve are being chosen for the final mastered CD. The remainder of the poems will be used in future work. If we exceed our funding goals in this effort the balance of the funding will be used to produce the additional material into other CDs in the same way as the first one.
With the success of this crowdfunding effort we will produce two initial imprints of the CD one in Europe and one in the USA to facilitate distribution.
We have been busy on this project and have completed the recording of the voice work and the cover are for the CD we are producing. The sounds and pure tones that are used in the compositions have been recorded.
We still need to complete the musical overlays that match the words and vibration carried in them. The first sample recording fully blended has been completed to promote the work and is available here Nicholas The Voice. CD booklets and inserts need to also be completed.
The Poetry book is in its final stages requiring editing, then must be prepared for printing and the cover design completed.
The initial funding will allow us to take what is in our hearts into the world.
What can you do to help beyond helping with financing the project?
You can put us on your social media outlets, Facebook, Twitter and others. You can send the links to your contacts that may be inspired by this work.
