SUMMARY
Hello! I'm Kevin Walls - a BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award winning filmmaker - and I need your help to complete my new documentary.
I'm currently directing and producing No Easy Path: The Road to the Paralympics, a documentary about para-badminton player, Mary Wilson, as she attempts to secure her place at the Paralympic Games whilst battling with multiple sclerosis.
When Mary was diagnosed with MS she felt like she was "no use anymore" but after deciding she is "not a quitter", she is now on the road to the Paralympics! Throughout her athletic career Mary has won gold and bronze medals at the Invictus Games and she was recently ranked 4th in world in her classification of para-badminton.
Mary's story is one that needs to be told but it won't be possible without your help.
WHAT WE NEED & WHAT YOU GET
I am hoping to raise £500 to complete production on the film.
This funding will allow me to attend and film at the Spanish ParaBadminton International in March 2020.
This competition is crucial in Mary's Paralympic campaign as it is her last opportunity to increase her ranking before the Team GB selection at the start of April. Therefore, the Spanish ParaBadminton International will be a pivitol part of the documentary and your contribution will ensure that it is included in the finished film.
In return, you will be able to see the documentary before anyone else! You can stream the film for as little as £5 or you can download a copy of the film for only £10. And, if you're feeling extra generous, you can get your name in the credits as a co-producer or executive producer!

Her determination, her resilience and her passion for sport will surely encourage others to pursue their dreams, no matter what obstacles stand in their way.

RISKS & CHALLENGES
The biggest challenge facing this production is raising the funds to attend the Spanish ParaBadminton International in March 2020. Missing the competition would be a huge blow to the documentary and would compromise the narrative arc of film. But this challange has a simple solution: you!
