Welcome to the campaign to fund "Nosfero: The Crypt Walker!”

My name is Shanth Enjeti and I am the artist writer and creator of "Nosfero: The Crypt Walker!”  I am asking for your support funding this campaign so that we can make this comic book project a reality.

If you like sumptuously painted pulp fiction with villainous looking villains, sexy women, noble heroes, lots of action, and a gothic setting, “Nosfero: The Crypt Walker!” is the book for you.

Don’t miss the very first story containing the first appearance of this character! This first printing is sure to be limited and in the tradition of independent comic book publishing, the book will be able to go all out if you are willing to go all in and back this project!

The Story

“Nosfero: The Crypt Walker!” is a story in the "pulp" tradition: Low page count, high in plot, and a complete story with beautifully crafted hand-painted art. Nosfero is the sworn enemy of vampyre cultists attempting to unleash cosmic horrors upon the world. Nosfero battles evil using the sacred weapons of the ancient Brotherhood of Golgotha and uses their iconography to haunt the agents of evil.

“Nosfero” loosely translated to mean “iron nose”, gets his name from the metal shard that was driven through his nose during a dark ritual. The ritual gives Nosfero the capacity to access supernatural powers and the shard is all that prevents the otherworldly forces that gave Nosfero his powers from consuming him and killing him.

Nosfero battles Amun Alhazred, and his servants Lascivia and Drächülhü. Drächülhü, a tentacle clad vampiric abomination was conceived in a ritual led by Alhazared, the undead father of the vampyre race and author of the Necronomicon Ex Nihil.

The story begins after a decade long stalemate between the Nosfero and the unholy trinity’s vampyre horde. When Nosfero interrupts a ritual sacrifice, his destiny becomes intwined with an angelic young maiden named Laurel.

The Book

With your support,“Nosfero: The Crypt Walker!” will contain a full-color, painted, standalone comic book story that will be 30+ pages, as well as additional pages of the paintings without text, and pin-ups by Shanth. The finished book will be over 50, full-color pages.

The the comic book will be a signed, full-color, 8.5in x 11in, beautifully printed, glossy softcover with a crisp square spine. The painted artwork will be scanned in high-resolution to preserve the texture of the watercolor paper, the look of the original paintings, as well as their intricate detail.

What We Need & What You Get

We need to raise a minimum of $5000 in order to make this project viable. We have a printer, the art, and the technical skills to produce the finished files. We've already seen our first two books through to print and fulfillment and the results were stunning! This book will be no different.

As a supporter of this campaign, you will receive a copy of a very limited edition comic book. You will also have the opportunity to receive additional perks at higher levels of support including sketches and original art.

My IndieGoGo journey started with creating the artwork I always dreamed of making and led to the building of an online audience of fans. This comic book is the result of finding my people and I am so grateful for everyone’s support. The degree to which you support this project will determine the extent of the possibilities for my artwork going forward.
