Why We Created the OhMiBod Remote App:
OhMiBod Founders Suki and Brian originally created the OhMiBod Remote App because they kept hearing stories about couples spending more and more time cuddling up with their smartphones and less time being intimate with each other. The husband and wife team decided it was time to create a technology that empowers people to share an enhanced level of intimacy, even over long distances.

Risks & Challenges
Our
challenge, which we turned to Indiegogo to solve, was adding the Wi-Fi
functionality to our OhMiBod Remote App. Before launching our Indiegogo
campaign, we had finalized our plans and secured patents to put development of Wi-Fi
capability for the OhMiBod Remote App in motion. All we needed was the
additional funding.
With
blueMotion already scheduled to be released in July with Bluetooth capability,
we thought it was the perfect time to take our app to next step and make the
connection even better for you and your partner.
One of the
risks we faced was whether adding this functionality was something that users
would see as a benefit. We had received feedback from fans at CES that adding
WiFi functionality would be awesome but what about our users in the general
public? Would they be interested? We wanted to see if our idea would be
supported.

OhMiBod is the brainchild of Brian and Suki Dunham – husband and wife of 26 years. The OhMiBod team combines vision, innovation and passion to bring high-quality, beautifully designed, fun and discreet pleasure products to women and couples everywhere.
Suki Dunham, Founder: Before founding OhMiBod, Suki worked in worldwide product marketing at Apple. She leveraged that experience to found OhMiBod and create the brand's expansive collection of OhMiBod pleasure products.
Brian Dunham, Founder: Brian helped plant the seed of innovation in Suki’s mind on Christmas Day in 2004, when he gave her a vibrator and an iPod. Before becoming a founder of OhMiBod, Brian worked in Finance at Tyco International. Ever since, he has supported Suki’s efforts to help make OhMiBod the award-winning and successful company it is today.
