Qu’est-ce qu’Oliba ?

Oliba est le chouette complice des enfants et du doudou. Oliba s’attache à tous les doudous avec une attache universelle. Grâce à son application smartphone, Oliba est personnalisable pour s’adapter au développement des enfants de 0 à 5 ans.

Oliba est un retrouve doudou malin et une veilleuse musicale connectée, qui raconte des histoires pleine d’imagination pour développer la créativité de votre enfant.

 

A quoi peut me servir Oliba?

Parce qu’un dodo sans doudou c’est impossible, et parce que le doudou ne suffit pas toujours à s’endormir sereinement, Smarty Crew a développé Oliba.

Avec Oliba, vous ne perdrez plus le doudou, elle vous fait gagner du temps et de l’énergie.

Oliba vous permet de passer plus de temps avec votre enfant en partageant des histoires passionnantes : Elle connait de supers histoires de Radio Pomme d’Api pour tous les enfants de 0 à 5 ans.

Comment marche Oliba ?

Oliba s'attache à tous les doudous et communique avec son App en toute sécurité.

Faites ululer Oliba avec l'App pour retrouver le doudou à la maison sans stress ni larmes. L'App vous alerte si le doudou est à plus de 30 mètres, et vous montre la dernière position connue du doudou.

Les enfants adorent les histoires. Elles les aident à grandir en développant leur imaginaire. Avec l’App, choisissez une histoire de la bibliothèque d'Oliba ou enregistrez votre voix, Oliba la racontera. Oliba connait de supers histoires de Radio Pomme d'Api pour tous les enfants de 0 à 5 ans. En deux clics, Oliba enregistre l'histoire de votre choix. Vous pouvez la démarrer avec l'App ou manuellement en appuyant quelques secondes sur le bec d'Oliba. Les enfants peuvent s'évader dans leur imaginaire et écouter votre voix partout et à tout moment, sans aucun téléphone ni aucune connexion.

Avec l'App, paramétrez une veilleuse et choisissez une berceuse dans la bibliothèque d'Oliba. Vous pouvez aussi enregistrer votre voix pour endormir votre enfant. Quand c'est l'heure de dormir, Oliba scintille dans le noir et chante la berceuse pour calmer et endormir votre enfant selon ses peurs et ses besoins. Démarrez-la avec l'App ou en appuyant brièvement sur le bec d'Oliba. N'importe qui peut démarrer manuellement la séquence, à la crèche ou à la maison, sans avoir besoin de l'App.

Oliba est livrée avec 10 berceuses et 10 histoires (5 en langue française et 5 en langue anglaise). Elles sont fournies et sélectionnées par Radio Pomme d’Api. Du nouveau contenu sera proposé directement depuis l’application une fois commercialisée. 

Où et quand puis-je télécharger l’application ?

Quand vous recevrez votre Oliba, rendez-vous sur l’Apple Store et sur Google Play pour télécharger gratuitement l’application Oliba.

Quelles fonctionnalités existent sur l’application Oliba ?

Grâce à l’application, vous pouvez faire ululer Oliba et localiser le doudou. Vous pouvez personnaliser les lumières, les histoires et les berceuses en fonction des goûts de votre enfant. Vous pouvez aussi enregistrer vos propres histoires.

Est-ce qu’Oliba peut se décrocher de la peluche ?

L’attache universelle d’Oliba a été conçue pour qu’une fois attachée, Oliba ne puisse pas être retirée par un enfant.

En quelle couleur sera disponible Oliba ?

Un sondage sera réalisé après la clôture de la campagne de crowdfunding pour que vous puissiez voter pour votre couleur préférée. Oliba sera livrée dans le jeu de couleur ayant reçu le plus de votes.

 

En quelle langue est disponible Oliba ?

Oliba est livrée avec des berceuses et histoires en langue française et anglaise. L’application sera disponible en français et anglais.

Quelles données collecte Oliba ? Quelle est votre politique de confidentialité ?

Nous ne collectons aucune donnée personnelle. Nous avons fait le choix de respecter les enfants, et ainsi votre vie de famille.

Oliba analyse uniquement les informations concernant les chansons et histoires (types et durées) afin de vous offrir dans le futur du contenu adapté.

SECURITE ET CERTIFICATION

 

Qu’en est-il des ondes ?

Oliba et son App communiquent en Bluetooth 4.0. C'est le protocole de communication le plus léger qui existe aujourd'hui.

Oliba est passive, c'est avant tout un récepteur. Elle n'envoie aucune donnée au téléphone et n’émet qu’un signal de présence, bien plus faible qu’un SMS.

La connexion avec le smartphone peut être coupée à l'aide d'un bouton. Comme Oliba enregistre dans sa mémoire réglages et contenus, les fonctions histoire, veilleuse et berceuse fonctionnent même quand la connexion est coupée!

De quoi est fabriqué Oliba? Oliba contient-il des phtalates, du Bisphénol A ou d’autres composants toxiques ?

Oliba est composée de plastiques doux au toucher et de textiles utilisés pour les doudous : coton, ratine de velours, microfibre… Les matières d’Oliba sont conformes aux dispositions européennes sur le Bisphénol A et les phtalates pour les articles de puériculture destinés aux enfants de moins de 3 ans, et Oliba sera livrée en étant conformes aux certifications CE et FCC. Conformément à la Directive européenne ROHS, aucune substance dangereuse n’est présente dans les produits destinés aux enfants mais aussi dans les packagings.

Le produit convient-il aux peaux sensibles ?

Bien sûr, Oliba est doux pour la peau délicate de bébé. Tous les matériaux ont été testés et répondent aux normes européennes et américaines, notamment les certifications CE et FCC.

Avez-vous déjà testé le produit ? Avec des bébés ?

Oliba a été entièrement conçue avec plus de 150 familles, pendant plus d’un an et demi. Nous avons réussi à réaliser 4 prototypes qui ont tous été testés sur des enfants entre 0 et 5 ans. Grâce à ces ateliers de travail, nous avons crée un produit vraiment utile, qui est à la fois mignon et sur pour les enfants.

Y-a-t’il un risque d‘étranglement?

Non, il n’y a pas de risque d’étranglement car l’ensemble des composants et de leurs dimensions respectent les standards européens et américains, notamment en accord avec les certifications CE et FCC.

La batterie est-elle dangereuse ?

Non, pas plus qu’une autre batterie Lithium. Elle n’est pas amovible, est entièrement encapsulée dans une coque métallique et est complètement étanche pour qu'il n'y ait pas de fuites ou de petites pièces dangereuses.

Y a-t-il un risque électrique ?

Oliba répond à la Directive sur la Basse Tension. Cette Directive s'assure notamment de la sécurité électrique et est obligatoire pour les luminaires pour enfants.

Est-ce qu’Oliba est homologué par la FDA,  l’Agence Américaine des produits alimentaires et médicamenteux?

Les caractéristiques d’Oliba n’exigent pas d’homologation par la FDA.

Est-ce qu’Oliba est résistant à l’eau ?

Oliba n’est pas imperméable mais vous pouvez passer sa housse à la machine à laver.

Oliba fonctionne avec le standard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), une technologie sécurisée.

Est-ce que l’application fonctionne avec tous les smartphones?

Aujourd’hui, l’application fonctionne sur les produits iOS : iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Air 2,iPad Air, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini et iPod Touch 5G.

La compatibilité avec certains terminaux Android sera assurée d’ici la date de réception d’Oliba.

Faut-il internet pour utiliser Oliba ?

Oliba n’a pas besoin d’internet pour fonctionner. Vous avez uniquement besoin d’une connexion wifi quand vous voulez télécharger de nouveaux contenus pour Oliba.

Que faire si je n’ai pas de smartphone ?

Oliba fonctionnera mais partiellement. Vous pourrez utiliser le contenu présent dans Oliba mais ne pourrez pas personnaliser Oliba ni la localiser avec le doudou.

Y a-t-il une application web?

Non, Oliba ne fonctionne qu’avec une application smartphone.

Puis-je utiliser l’application avec plusieurs Oliba ?

Oui, nous avons conçu l’application pour qu’elle soit compatible avec plusieurs Oliba.

 

 

Est-ce qu’Oliba peut se synchroniser à plusieurs Smartphones?

Oui, nous avons autorisé la connexion d’Oliba à plusieurs Smartphones. Cela  permet à toute la famille mais aussi au personnel de la crèche ou à la baby-sitter de retrouver le doudou ou d’ajouter du nouveau contenu à Oliba.

Est-ce que je peux changer la batterie?

Non, la batterie est encapsulée à l’intérieur d’Oliba pour la sécurité des enfants. Elle ne peut donc pas être remplacée.

Où est fabriquée Oliba ?

Oliba est fabriquée en Chine. Nos partenaires fabricants sont certifiés ISO et respectent le plus haut niveau des standards de production et de contrôle qualité. Ils fabriquent déjà des produits pour enfants pour plusieurs grandes marques.

Où est disponible Oliba ?

Oliba sera tout d’abord vendue directement depuis notre site internet. De plus, nous cherchons de forts partenariats de distribution. Nos priorités géographiques pour 2016 sont l’Europe et les Etats-Unis.

How does Oliba work?

Tie Oliba to your child cuddly toy and use the app to communicate with Oliba.Use Oliba app to make Oliba hoot and locate the cuddly toy at home whenever you need it. On the go, the app alerts you when the cuddly toy is over 100 feet away and gives you the latest known location of the cuddly toy.Pick one of Oliba's stories in our App or record your own story, Oliba will tell it. Oliba knows great stories adapted to each stage of development for children from 0 to 5 years old. In two clicks, the story you picked is stored in Oliba. It can be started with a long press on Oliba's face or with the App. Children can escape in their imaginary worlds and hear your soothing voice anytime in the day, without needing a phone! With the App, you can set a nightlight and pick a lullaby in Oliba's Library or record one with your voice. At bedtime, Oliba glows in the dark and sings the lullaby just the way you have set it to best fit your child's needs. Your bedtime routine is stored in Oliba. We don’t collect any personal data. It is our choice to respect children and family personal lives. Oliba only analyses information about the songs and stories that you play (types and durations) to offer you adapted content in the future.

SAFETY AND CERTIFICATION

What about signal or radio technology used in Oliba?

Oliba and its app communicate by Bluetooth 4.0. It is the lightest communication protocol invented today. Oliba is passive, it is a receiver. Meaning that it does not send any data to the phone and emits only a signal of presence, much lower than a SMS. The connection to the smartphone can be turned off with a button on Oliba. As Oliba storessettings and content, the functionalities of lullaby, storytelling and nightlight and can be used even when the connection is deactivated!

What is Oliba made of?

Oliba is made with a soft-touch plastic and cuddly toy-textiles (cotton, terry velour, microfiber plush…). Oliba will be delivered after CE and FCC certifications. Particularly Oliba’s materials comply with European rules on Biphenyl A and phthalates in childcare articles intended for children less than 3 years. In accordance with European ROHS Directive, hazardous substances are not present in products intended for children but either in packaging.

Is it safe for delicate skin?

Absolutely, Oliba is fully gentle on baby’s delicate skin. All the materials have been tested to and pass the European and American standards, namely CE and FCC certifications.

What about product testing? Have you tested Oliba with babies?

Oliba has been fully co-developed with over 150 families during more than a year and a half. We made 4 successive prototypes that have been all tested on children aged from 0 to 5 year old. Thanks to these workshops, we created a truly useful product that is cute and safe for children.

Can it cause a choking hazard?

No, there is no risk of the baby choking since all the materials and dimensions respect European and American standards, namely in accordance to CE and FCC certifications

Is the battery dangerous?

No, the battery is not removable; it is fully encapsulated in a shell, and is completely sealed to ensure there are no leaks or hazardous small parts.

Is there an electrical shock hazard?

Oliba meets the Low Voltage Directive of CE certification. This Directive shall in particular ensure electrical safety and is mandatory for children's fixtures.

Are Oliba Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved?

The current features built into Oliba do not require FDA approval.

Is Oliba waterproof?

Oliba is not waterproof but you can remove Oliba’s fabric for machine wash.

Do I need an Internet connection? What type?

Oliba doesn’t need Internet for regular use. You need a regular Internet connection with wife only when you want to upload new content.

What if I don’t have a smartphone?

Oliba will then only work partially. You can benefit from the pre-recorded light and audio sequences, but you won’t be able to customize your Oliba and locate the cuddly toy.

Is there a web application?

No, Oliba only works with a smartphone application.

Can I use the App with multiple Oliba?

Yes, we designed the application to support multiple Oliba.

Can Oliba synchronize to more than one smartphone?

Yes, we allow multiple phones to be connected with the Oliba. It enables all the family but also multiple caregivers to use the App to locate the cuddly toy or to add new content.

Is the battery replaceable?

No, the battery is encapsulated inside the sensor and is not removable or replaceable.

Where is Oliba manufactured?

Oliba is manufactured in China. Our manufacturing partners are ISO approved manufacturers and operate at the highest level of manufacturing and quality control standards. They already manufacture child products for several other well-known companies.

Where will Oliba be available?

Initially we will be selling to the public directly online via our website. We are tough looking for strong distribution partners in many territories. Our priority is to cover Europe and the USA in 2016.

When will Oliba be available?

Prices are set in US Dollars because it is an international campaign.

If your bank account is not based in the United-States, fees may be applied for a payment in foreign currency and depends on your bank policy.

Where can I pre-order Oliba and how long will it last?

Pre-orders are launched on the crowdfunding site, www.indiegogo.com. It will last 35 days. Prices are set in US Dollars because it is an international campaign.

When will I receive Oliba at home?

If the campaign does not reach its goal, you will be refunded. If the campaign achieves its objective (about 700 pre-ordered Oliba) the project will be validated by Indiegogo. The funds will be used for the production and certification of the pre-ordered units. You will receive your Oliba six months after the end of the campaign.
