The secret behind OSTRICH PILLOW GO's unique comfort lies inside. The viscoelastic core of the pillow is made out of high-sensitivity memory foam. The foam core has a protective cotton fabric layer around it. The outermost layer is a removable and washable sleeve made out of skin-friendly stretchable fabric.

Our team has worked hard to find a universal shape that would provide optimal headrest for different neck types. 

OSTRICH PILLOW GO's carefully chosen materials are able to reduce dramatic in volume, which is extremely convenient for travelling.

We've spent months testing hundreds of foam samples until we got to the nap-perfect consistency that guarantees dream-level comfort and compact transport for hardcore travellers. 

OSTRICH PILLOW GO is the latest in the OSTRICH PILLOW saga of napping classics.

We are Studio Banana Things, the design studio behind the idea. We first launched the OSTRICH PILLOW ORIGINAL in Kickstarter in 2012 and the campaign was a total success that went viral on global media. Since then we've created the commute-friendly LIGHT and the discreet MINI versions, also to great public and Kickstarter acclaim.

Earlier this year we thought that the next member of the OSTRICH PILLOW family should focus on providing perfect neck support and be super compact for diehard travellers. Our design team has spent the last few months studying the anatomy of the neck, analysing emerging travel habits, researching materials and patterns, visiting manufacturers and restlessly improving the design until we got to a really satisfactory point.

We're super excited to bring OSTRICH PILLOW GO to you and can't wait to press the button GO at the factory thanks to your support.

Designing OSTRICH PILLOW GO we have leveraged on all our knowledge on napping pillows accumulated over the years. We have done our homework and in parallel to working on the design of the product we have identified the different suppliers and manufacturers that are in a capacity to produce the product from the get-go (no pun intended).

A particular aspect about memory foam is that it needs to be injected in a mould for manufacturing. The great news is that we have already made that initial investment and we have the mould ready at the factory.

The supply of the special lining fabric is another critical aspect and we are happy to inform you that we have the material ready to be ordered. If our campaign goes well we'll be proposing as stretch goals different fabric patterns so get ready to make your choice!

The final key aspect is packaging. The design is very advanced and we're finalising the manufacturing details. You'll surely get news from us about this aspect during the campaign.
