Hi! I’m Blaine Rincon. I live in Kennesaw, GA, just outside of NW Atlanta, GA, I’m an artist with a BFA from the University of West Florida, an actor, and a writer. I have a love of creating, whether it be on film, canvas or paper. As a writer I have several stories that I want to share with the world, and as an actor I want to create and develop a compelling character from these stories.
Out of Favor is the beginning of a character who fits this. He is someone who has an appreciation of what he has, but questions why and how. Not to himself. To God, the Universe, or whoever may be listening. Is he at an end? Or a beginning? I personally have these questions every day. We all have. We all have a vested interest in this type of character.
This short film is meant to leave the viewer with questions. This is what I want to explore in a short film. A short film with a grand vision. I have a grand vision to one day bring about a full feature film based off this character.
Your contribution to this campaign will help achieve this exploration of human nature. It will help me to establish who, and what, the character is. And will be. You can help me bring this to life. This campaign is raising money specifically for the creation of this story.
Your contribution will specifically help with:
• Video Equipment Upgrade
•On-camera Directional Microphone and noise cancelling windscreen for the mic
• Sturdier tripod for outdoor use (This will be an outdoor filmed short)
• Lighting equipment for afternoon /late evening shots.
• Any expenses associated with location use
• Any expenses associated with travel to location
• Craft Services for Crew. (Very small crew, but still need to take care of
everyone)
• Editing and Sound consultation (if needed)
There are always a few unforeseen expenses not accounted for. None of the campaign money will go to my pocket. I just want to bring this story to life. All money will go into production, and all equipment upgrades will also enable another future project to be created.
ANY contributions that exceed the above needs will be used for any festivals entered, and go towards our rewards program.
