OBJECTIVE:
We are seeking $7,000 in capital to
fund the short film "Ploy". Your investment will help us to secure locations, assemble our
crew and cast, as well as allow us to begin booking equipment for our shoot so
your money will go a long way, and make it a reality. All the funds raised will
go directly into use for this project.
SYNOPSIS:

"Ploy" is a
crime thriller film that focuses on the inner world of truth and justice while
being an officer of the law. Detective Angel Delgado was murdered five years
ago, and Detective Dennis Reynolds is aware who executed his partner in cold
blood. The man was never brought to justice and continues to roam the streets
to this day. Detective Reynolds
proceeds to attempt to find justice but his conspiracy theories were unable to
be proven.

Sunnyside
Down Productions is an independent media production company that was established
in 2010. Sunnyside is a team of dreamers and believers with a mission to
entertain the world with their passion for film making. Sunnyside has shown
interests in different mediums in the entertainment film. Sunnyside's main focus
is the love of pushing their dreams forward and to show the world that dreams
can become a reality.
The team has gain
accolades at film festivals across the country including their home state. Sunnyside
Down's film "Forgiveness" won three awards at the Jam Fest Indie Film
Festival in Louisiana. The film won the Silver Award for Short Drama. Two Iago
Awards were awarded to actor Stan Adams and to writer and director Julius B.
Kelly. The film "Forgiveness" was also an official selection for the
New Filmmakers Spring Festival Series in NYC. Co-director and writer Giancarlo
Orellana was featured on News12 New Jersey to promote the short film "The Angel to Help Me
Sleep" which was an official selection at the New Jersey Film Festival in
the Fall of 2010. Their music video interpretation "Cold Desert"
directed by Julius B. Kelly won third place at the North Hudson International
Short Film Festival in 2010. Their comedy "Jackin' Carlos" written by
Christina Chu and directed by Julius B. Kelly was an official selection of the
2011 Hell's Kitchen Film Festival, NYC. "Jackin' Carlos" won the
Silver Award at the Jam Fest Indie Film Festival in 2011. The short film
"Un Amor Ilicito" written by Christina Chu and directed by Julius B.
Kelly won top honors at the 5th Annual North Hudson International Short Film

Sunnyside Down Productions has been supplying the
independent film festival circuit since 2010 and continues to deliver their
brand of entertainment to the masses of film fans and viewers. Sunnyside Down
Productions never takes a break. The team has many plans for other projects and
