Kaotoxin Kollektor Series.
Kaotoxin records is an indie / DIY records label since 2010 with 42
productions already out and, as announced earlier this year at kaotoxin.com, the "Kaotoxin Kollektor Series" are a brand new series of ultra limited collector releases by fans for fans!
All Kaotoxin Kollektor Series releases will be crowdfunded and coming
as a 100 copies ultra limited edition deluxe "vinyl replica" CD
(high-quality spined cardboard sleeve with printed inner sleeve), will
be autographed by the bands, come with exclusive stickers. Do we need to add that ALL crowdfunders' name will be listed
in a dedicated thank list in the CD so we're all a real part of
something we did together?
"Suffering"
Launched on October 31st as a digital-only EP, "Suffering" marks the comeback of legendary Goregrind act PUTRID OFFAL after a 20 years hiatus. Featuring four tracks, it's a vision of what was, what is and what will be: three versions of the title track, including the 2015 album version, the 2014 demo version (exclusive to this release!), the 1991 version (remastered) and the first PUTRID OFFAL original in 20 years, "Livor Mortis", totally exclusive to this release too!
A series?
Yes! We have no release schedule for the Kaotoxin Kollektor Series
and aren't tied to retail distribution deadlines, etc. We're currently in the process of releasing our first funded release, THE LUMBERJACK FEEDBACK / WE ALL DIE (laughing) "Ausstellung" split CD and funding this PUTRID OFFAL EP but we will release
one iteration after the other and already have MANY of them on the
planning. So, the faster one is funded, the faster the next one will
come!

Why crowdfunding?
Kaotoxin is a totally indie label and has a very tight schedule of
forthcoming releases. In a market where physical music sales are diving,
it's harder and harder for DIY companies and up-and-coming artists such
as the killer ones we try to develop to release all the fantastic
material they would have been selling like hot cakes a decade ago.
This series of ultra exclusive releases has consequently been
imagined to offer real fans of the said artists a great way of getting
more, and even better, extremely exclusive, releases by artists they
like and would like to support with getting collector upper quality CDs.
