Rehla is an RPG game that takes you on a journey all over
the Arabian Peninsula, with a role-based combat system that allows you to
control the four main characters and use the special abilities of each one to
your advantage. Those abilities are also useful for solving puzzles and
exploring multiple dungeons inside the game.
Rehla will be available on IOS and Android, and any supported
tablets and mobile phones that use these platforms.

Masud(مسعود):
![]()
A young man in his twenties. He leaves his Eastern city
Al-Ahsa to fulfill a request in his father's will, which takes him on an
unintended –but eventful- trip around the Arabian Peninsula.
Sadqa(صدقة):

A Hijazi dealer from
Jeddah. He has a distinctive ability to talk to animals and understand them,
his companion is a cat.
Aida(عيضة):

A hunter who belongs to a tribe that resides at Aldahna
dunes, and the older brother to Tasbihat. He received a cruel order from his
tribe to feed his sister to the beast “Al Samtah” that rules the desert.
Tasbihat(تسبيحات):

The Younger sister of Aida. She had a close relationship
with the Elder of the tribe (Alkhathra) which would later get her into trouble.
Even after Alkhathra had passed away, Tasbihat could still see her in her dreams
and that was understood as a bad omen by the others. Tasbihat was sent away by
her tribe into certain death, but going on this journey with her brother and
the others might just be her salvation.

After his father passed away, Masud receives the will his father
left with the mosque’s Imam. His father mentions that he has a friend in Sadir
area in Najd, thousands of kilometers away. Masud ultimately decides to brave
the harsh Aldahna dunes elements to honor his father’s last wishes and meet
that old friend. On his way, he meets the other characters: Sadqa, Aida and
Tasbihat; and come across a lot of other friendly (and not so friendly) faces
along the way. Their journey spans the Arabian Peninsula from Najd all the way
to Alhijaz, then to Yemen, Oman, and even to the port of Dubai.

Unique stories based on Arabian Folktales:
Rehla will take you into an
authentic world you won’t find in any other RPG about Arabs, while missing none
of that delicious touch of RPG fiction. In each chapter, the heroes will play a
significant role in the making of stories popular in local folklore, and fight
together against mythical creatures that have haunted the nomads and
townspeople in times past. How many of these creatures were YOU scared of when
you were a kid?
High quality graphics and stunning
visuals:
Besides the 3D character models,
Rehla has hundreds of individual high quality artworks that blend seamlessly with
the 3D game environment, expressive character sprites in menus and
conversations, and story-book style illustrations when something important is
going on; all hand crafted by local male and female artists and designers from
every region of the country.
Dual language support:
First there was Arabic, then there’s
a translation!
Rehla currently supports English and
Arabic in full: The dialogue, menus, and environment texts, all the things.
Dungeon system:
Rehla has a nice multi touch control
system going on, helping the player explore the world and find new treasure at
the tip of their finger. The Dungeons have different puzzles and obstacles
which can be surpassed using different ways of thinking, or straight up
changing the controllable character to use their strengths to your advantage. Can’t
reach that Crystal? Just shoot an arrow into it, or get your pet monkey to hop
up there and get it!
Turn-base battle system:
Rehla’s battle system is inspired by
classic jrpg games where the player can control all the characters in the field,
with careful tactics, you can upgrade weapons or activate special skills to
defeat the foes, and use handy items or equip accessories to make your life
easier.
Other than the aforementioned dungeons,
the multi-touch system can be activated during battle. Cutting wood, planting
shields, slashing at the Samtah with your very fingers, and raining arrows from
the sky; if you time it right, you might just win by the skin of your teeth!

Reem is a game studio based in Saudi Arabia
Our main focus is on projects that have local language and culture at their
core, so that our games will deliver experiences the Saudi gamer can
identify with and enjoy.
We have already published three early-stage mobile games, and are working on
others, but “Rehla” is our very first big mobile game, and we’re glad we can
finally share it with you!

me?
The digital code for the game will
be sent to you either as a GooglePlay or Appstore code.
-Isn’t that price a little high?
A lot of time, research,
programming, art and effort was required to create Rehla. The dialogue had to
be right, the stories are based on real folklore that lives in real towns, the
characters and environment take tools and experience and creativity to make. A
project this big demands a lot of programming, AI work, big game-making
engines, and a lot of promotion so that others know, yes, we can make games
ourselves, and we just did!
By supporting us, you are supporting
the local game making industry itself. The artists and programmers and
storytellers will thank you by making even more games, better art, and even
more epic stories!
-When will it be out to the public?
Our backers will get early access in
April 2016, and the official launch date will be announced within the month
following the end of the campaign.
-Is it going to be free once it’s
officially out?
No. It will go along the price
bracket of other RPG games in the store(s).

The shipping time of figures will
not be decided until we know how many you guys end up ordering, but the Digital
