My name is Matt Dubois, I am stage 4 M1c cancer survivor, I was nominated for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year by the Orange County Business Journal. I have had over a dozen surgeries and gone through 2 rounds of chemo since 2007. I have made one of my life's priorities to support cancer related charities' efforts to find a cure. I see the difference LLS is making, especially with children. I encourage you to help.

A Real Survivor: 6 yr. old Emma Devitt

Emma is 6 yrs old and been actively fighting Leukemia since she was 4 yrs old. She has had 4 surgeries and 2 rounds of chemo, her current treatment is scheduled to end in December. She is on a drug that was developed by a research grant from LLS and it has been the key to her battle with Leukemia. After 2 long years, things are looking good for Emma, and it is her goal to be a voice for kids with Leukemia and give back. She knows that she wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't for the research funded by LLS from fundraising campaigns like this. For Emma, it has been 2 hard years but with more money and more research we can find a cure for Leukemia and amazing kids like Emma won't have to suffer any longer. Let's help raise $50,000 to get a research grant in her name!

Many of you know me or have friends who know me, I spend a lot of my time and money supporting great causes, I always do everything I can to support my friends and people in my sphere of influence. I never ask for anything, especially for myself. Right now I am asking all of my friends and friends of friends to help make a difference to a cause that is close to my heart and has personally affected my life. This my one time ask to my personal network. Let's raise this money, make a difference and get this research grant. While it may not be the one that cures Leukemia, it will be a huge step and a great opportunity to help Emma give back to a cause that most likely saved her life. Who knows, if we raise enough it could be the one, there is no limit to what we can raise!
