Our Project
Rose-colored is a short film, a labor of love, and a story that is personal to all of us.
It takes you on a journey with Rosalie, as she receives news that brings her past back into her life and causes her to question what it means to forgive, and to say goodbye.
Along the way, it explores the impact of mental illness through themes of abandonment and healing.
Why We Need Your Help
We are student filmmakers and freelance artists, and our project was accomplished with a lot of borrowing, creativity and meager pocket funds. We pulled it off through our determination and ingenuity — but unfortunately that just won't cut it for festival entries. We need a little help.
Why Festivals?
Festivals are the best way to share our film with people like you! Festivals also allow us to network, learn, and grow as filmmakers, so we can continue to share our stories. In these festivals, we'll be able to attend showings, Q&As, networking socials and panel discussions.
But most importantly we love making films and want to keep making them for you!
