Sacred Vision is a thriller that follows Galen Lopez years after their mother's tragic death, and weeks after a traumatic breakup. On social media and for clients, Galen puts on a happy go lucky facade, while inside they're doing their best to piece their life back together. Encouraged by their loving coven mother to stop their antidepressants in order to connect more with the spiritual realm, Galen begins having visions of the future. Not her future, crimes that are about to happen. Everything comes to a head when Galen sees their ex girlfriend Katelyn being attacked. Will they be able to stop it from happening? Or will they see it too late?

A LESBIAN FILM BY A LESBIAN

As a lesbian filmmaker, I understand the need for more lesbian content. It's incredibly important to see yourself represented on screen. Not only is this a lesbian film, the main character is also non-binary. So you're getting a witchy movie with a non-binary lesbian as the hero.

Brimo Morales - Writer/Director/Galen

Brimo Morales is an award winning lesbian filmmaker with over 16 years of experience with making films. Her film $500K is now streaming on Lesflicks and Reel Women's Network. In 2020, director Brimo Morales won first runner-up at the AFM Pitch Conference. In 2022 she wrote and shot Sacred Vision. Quite a bit of it she shot herself. It was a daunting and fun experience and now's the time for the movie to get done.

Naomi Bennett & Lesflicks - Executive Producers

We are so excited to announce that Naomi Bennett and Lesflicks are partnering with us as Executive Producers! Not only will this give us more exposure but it'll also guarantee us distribution on a streaming platform before the film is finished!

Naomi has spent the better part of her adult life trying make sure us queer women are getting the representation we rightfully deserve, both through Lesflicks and previously through Planet London/Planet Nation. Her extensive collection of lesbian interest films on DVD should tell you that, if her wonderful pride-themed rainbow eyeshadow doesn't already.

Naomi launched Lesflicks on 1 March 2019 because she was tired of seeing so many great films with lesbian and bisexual storylines that either weren't getting distribution, or even with distribution just weren't reaching their audience. Equally she was constantly coming across women on social media asking for recommendations of where to find lesbian films and what to watch.

Lesflicks exists to increase the knowledge of, and access to, lesbian and bisexual films through a variety of products including an editorial site, events, sapphic stories movie database and a sapphic streaming platform.

Lesflicks is proud to be the home of authentic sapphic stories on screen.

The movie has been shot!

We wrapped filming in May of 2022. The original plan was for Brimo to edit it herself, but unfortunately life happened and because of some personal issues the movie wasn't able to get done. Now we've got an incredibly talented post production team ready and waiting to make sure this film will get done...but we need the funds.

Editor/Colorist - Chris Bakir

Chris is an incredibly talented filmmaker and does it all. Not only is he a talented cinematographer but his editing and coloring skills are out of this world. I am so excited and lucky to be working with Chris to finish this project. I know it's in good hands and it'll turn out amazing!

Sound Designer/Composer - Federico Chavez - Blanco

Federico has over twenty years of experience as a sound designer and even more as a composer. He has worked on countless Spanish television programs, movies, and other projects. He did the sound design for $500K and it came out amazing! I know that he'll bring some amazing sound and music to Sacred Vision that'll really make the story come alive on screen. Because of his experience, we know we'll get a quality movie once it's all said and done.

Raymond Ramos - SFX

Ray is an After Effects wizard! He knows exactly what Sacred Vision needs in order to look believable and incredible. There isn't a lot of special effects in this witchy film, but what we do have will be taken care of with ease and expertise. I can't wait to see the final product!
