MY STORY:

My name is Dusty, aka Tonicmole, creator of Saving the World! I’m extremely excited to bring you the fourth issue in my ongoing series! STW combines the nerdy depth of mainstream super heroes with the sensibilities of 90’s alternative comics. In my opinion the perfect mix of counter culture intellect, and fan service sex appeal, or something like that. Oh, and who am I? Just a fool trying to make comics. Last year I fixed tires for a living. Now I’m trying to be a hotshot comic book creator. Please don’t make me go back to fixing tires.

INTRODUCTION:

Saving the World #4 continues the adventures of our minimum wage super heroes Kierra and Nora in their never ending fight to save the world and pay the rent. In this issue our heroes Kierra and Nora meet a girl named Alice who is being hunted by a relentless would be super hero named Mercy. To protect Alice and defeat Mercy, Nora has to come face to face with the demons of her past and confront them head on.

STW #4 is a 32 page, black and white comic with a beautiful color cover by Illustrator Monk. The interior story is fully written and illustrated by me.

THE BACK STORY:

On October 3rd at 10:30 PM the National Astronomical Detection Agency (NADA) detected a massive global disturbance. Though the disruption lasted mere seconds its effects would be immediately felt by hundreds of thousands of people, and change life on earth forever. Across the globe people reported strange mutations, some as simple as a sixth finger, or as outlandish as our hero, Kierra who developed unlimited super strength. This is where our story begins. In the early days of a world frantically trying to make sense of the unimaginable. The rise of a world of gods and monsters, and the heroes that protect it.
