Summary
We are Seasons of Me. We are a hard rock band based out of Johnson City, Tn.
We want to raise $7,000 to get a new van. This is crucial because it is our vehicle/home while we are on the road.
With YOUR help, we will achieve this goal and be able to bring our music to new areas and stay out on the road substantially longer!
What We Need & What You Get
We will need a minimum amount of about $7,000 to buy the van that we really need. We need a large 15 passenger van in order to accommodate the band members, personal luggage, and gear. We are hoping to have enough room to eventually install bunks for sleeping. Due to the cost of a heavy duty vehicle to pull the trailer and gear, we will be purchasing a used van. Needless to say the more we raise the better the van will be!
You will get the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping the band keep touring more frequently and bringing our music to your hometown more often, while also helping us branch out and reach the masses!
Some of the very unique “Perks” that you will receive are some musical instruments that we have used live, one-of-a-kind handmade products, exclusive invitation to a VIP backyard BBQ, and come to your house and play a private acoustic set for you and your friends!
The Impact
As some of you know, we have been traveling in a personal pickup truck every time we hit the road. While we have had to make due with this arrangement, it limits us severely in many ways. Since we pull a trailer full of gear, we have to be very cautious of the weight we carry, which limits our choices in gear, and even which venues we can play, because if they don't have a house PA then we don't have the capacity to bring our own. Additionally the wear and tear on the personal vehicle is a big concern, since it is being loaned. Also, since it's a pickup truck, quarters are very close, and there is no room for anyone to comfortably sleep. This results in us needing hotel rooms more often, which gets expensive quickly. This in turn puts us over budget often in order to stay safe, and keeps us from traveling as much as we would like to bring you awesome music! By contributing, you will help us be able to travel without having to worry if we will make it to the next gig, or where we are going to sleep!
