What We Need & What You Get
We are looking to raise £800 for the production of 'See You Tomorrow' and have chosen the flexible funding campaign as any amount you are able to give will majorly help in the production of the film even if we are unable to reach our target.
Costume and Makeup: £350
Often in student films zombies are made to look too simplistic and fake. My main aim for these funds is to ensure our zombies will scare your pants off. Our aim is to look into prosthetics, contact lenses and suitable attire to make the most authentic zombies possible rivalling that of AMC's 'The Walking Dead.' We also hope to make Zack and Grace fit in an apocalyptic environment with large jackets, boots and potential weapons. As well as this we hope to obtain military gear for the guards and white clothing for 'The Cities' inhabitance to add to the feel of the film. This will be the area the majority of the funding is required in order to achieve the perfect post apocalyptic mis en scene.
Equipment: £150
A major plot device in our film will be POV shots from Graces eyes. Due to this we are looking into getting a small camera and a head mount specially designed for the actress playing Grace's head. This is an interigal point to our plot and after extensive research for a quality yet budget product we have estimated £150 will cover this. The rest of the equipment will be hired from Bournemouth University or personally from the director and camera man.
Accommodation, travel and catering: £300
Our main goal when considering location is to keep everything as local as possible to keep costs down. In the area of dorset there are some amazing outdoor locations as well as abandoned buildings we hope to shoot 'See You Tomorrow'. Although this may be the case, travel to these locations will still require a certain amount of money allocated to petrol. Similarly we hope to find local actors so that accommodation shouldn't be an issue however most are located in London so this is subject to change. When considering catering... as most film makers know, keeping your crew well fed is the most important part of a shoot! A happy energised crew makes a better film!
