Shadow Ball is a film that celebrates the rich heritage of American baseball through the power of imagination and magical realism. It’s a story of a young boy playing a simple game of baseball with a group of guys after school and managing to lose the only game ball. Now it’s up to Bryce Walker to overcome his crippling stage fright in order to play a full game of baseball… With no ball.

I'm Benjamin Gammon, producer for ‘Shadow Ball’, and I'm working alongside my personal friend and classmate, Joshua Rosebrough, the film’s director. This is our final year in the film production program at Huntington University. We’ve worked on numerous award-winning student films over the last four years. Our crews take our projects very seriously and strive for the highest level of professionalism in every film while maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone involved.
This film we are producing is our senior thesis film. We are casting professional actors from Chicago, filming in Huntington and Fort Wayne Indiana, and have plans to run the film through the festival circuits once completed. We’re asking for your help to make this project the best quality possible. Any contributions will go towards expenses the film will acquire during the pre-production process and the festival process.
Our crew is eager to produce a film that everyone will love, but take away a realization of what the imagination can do. Any contributions are sincerely appreciated and will help us achieve our goal to make a film everyone can be proud of.
Location.
We will be utilizing the Huntington's Heirs Park as our main filming location and are still in the works on locking in Fort Waynes Tin Caps Stadium. We will be filming on October 13-17.
Our goal.
We are looking to raise $2000 towards the film. That money will go towards: casting professional actors from Chicago, travel expenses, production design, costumes, overnight accommodations for actors, craft services, and festival entry fees. $2000 would ensure a film with high production value in every respect and help us create a more professional film.
