Several important things we'd like you to read:
1) Full background on Silberra:

2) Combined shipping: the way out
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/silberra-b-w...
3) Silberra PAN series film is ready, the only thing we need is to make it mass market product by packing huge amount of it into beautiful boxes;
4) Silberra ORTA series film is ready by 90% today; three things we need to run it as mass market product are:
- purchasing good substrate to coat the emulsion;
- fixing a couple of minor faults in coating machine;
plus the same packing line to provide wholesale quantities of that film.
In accordance with Update #10 we've extended the duration of our campaign up to October, 30th. Thank you for your support!
Silberra Films: About Us
Since 2009 we've been manufacturing supplies for analog photography. We started it in our own lab, relying on the recipes we managed to acquire from different sources: encyclopedias, chemistry books, photographic guidebooks and many others. We've been studying chemistry, reinventing the solutions, trying to bring back the variety of the developers and auxiliary solutions from the times when analog photography flourished.

We've passed a long way from small home-based lab to small-scale chemistry manufacture. This year we've decided that our products deserve their own brand name, and we gave birth to "Silberra" trade mark. This trade mark shall be the brand name for our films also and you can find a lot about the whole product range at our web-site: https://www.silberra.com .
Feel free to surf our Instagram account also: https://www.instagram.com/silberrafilm/ . You'll find a lot of film shots made on Silberra film by photographers from all over the world.
Now we have 3 versions of Silberra PAN films (ISO160, ISO100 and ISO50) plus limited edition of Silberra PAN200 and Silberra Ultima200 (ISO200), which are black&white negative panchromatic films based on modified Agfa emulsions. We're ready to offer those in 35mm format, and we're working hard to start the production of 120 type. This film is 100% ready except packaging.

We have Silberra ORTA series, which is at beta-test phase now: black&white negative orthochromatic film based on totally new emulsions, and it will be available in 35mm format, 120 type and sheet films starting from 4"x5" and up to 8"x10". This film is 85% ready: we need to modify the coating machine to make it up to 100%.

R&D phase never ends: we're on the way to the next film already, and that shall be Silberra IC - new isochromatic black and white film, and then Silberra PANII will follow, new panchromatic emulsion.
We've been able to implement ideas into real products due to the only thing: we just kept doing the work each day and night. We did involve the best chemists and emulsion synthesis specialists we could reach. We've been telling them about the Renaissance of the film photography and we've been persuading them to postpone some technical films engineering to modify some of our films to make those really good for professional and common photography.
And here we represent the core team of Silberra (though lots of partners and assistants just stay behind the frame).

What We Need & What You Get
We need to start mass market manufacturing of Silberra film to make it available worldwide.
1) We need to make small semi-automated packaging line (or to subcontract one) to produce enough films to meet your demand (and we shall do it fast, for you not to spend years in waiting).
2) We need to place order for corresponding amount of the beautiful cardboard boxes for Silberra film and it means that we need to buy it in wholesale quantity.
3) To start mass market manufacturing of ORTA film we need to buy substrate with all the properties that will suit us: anti halation layer, anti curling layer, and substrate shall be thin enough and yet reliable.
4) To run 120 Type manufacturing for all the films we need either to contract third-party manufacturing line or to create small semi-automated manufacturing line of our own;
5) We need R&D funds to go on with PANII (panchrome) emulsion and IC (isochrome) emulsion engineering. Every job must be paid, and scientific one shall be paid well.
Shall we succeed in acquiring the whole sum we're up to, we'll have really good ground for a start. Please keep in mind that backing us here you're not buying the rewards (film shall be much lower in price when mass manufacturing starts); you're backing us on running new film, new photo papers and new chemicals. And we won't disappoint you, folks.
As for rewards - we have a lot of them for you to choose. You can choose as much perks as you like; should you like to get several perks, all you need to do is to order the perks one at a time, that's it.
The Impact
One more place where new films are manufactured, that's what we'd like to implement with the help of that campaign. There are not too much photo films these days. Each new film which comes to the market is like new paint for painters: imagine that you've been limited to use just 5 or 6 colors through the whole life, and suddenly you have an option to use one more! Well, we've brought you a kind of color palette at once.
Risks & Challenges
When you produce something new there are always risks and challenges. But we're sure that we'll overcome every challenge we have on our way. We've done too much to stop when facing any difficulty: there is no such option for us.
We have to engineer a lot in technics and emulsions too. But the only risk here is that we'll have to spend a bit more time solving the problem, than we're expecting. But we've got used to work fast, so the main thing for us is your faith and support: when one knows his efforts are not in vain, there are no obstacles in his way.
What for do we need money exactly?
Here is the budgeting picture explaining the costs. As you see, we're placing a lot of the funds into perks manufacturing, as it will allow us to pre-order a lot of the components we need for full-scale manufacturing. While the first perks delivered at December 2017 are going to be hand rolled, the rest of the rewards shall be manufactured at the semi-automated or automated manufacturing line. Depending on the amount of the funds we will be able to acquire, we're going to construct it anew or subcontract one at the existing film manufacturing facilities.
