The Solo Stove Yukon is for those who want a really, really big flame! Our largest product yet, the Yukon allows large groups to gather around and enjoy the crackling sound and smell of a wood burning fire without shuffling around to avoid the smoke.
The Solo Stove Yukon can be left in one place as a stationary fire pit and comes with a weatherproof cover to protect it. Solo Stove Yukon is 16 inches tall and a hefty 30 inches across and made from 304 stainless steel. The Solo Stove Yukon weighs in at a sturdy 45 lbs.
The Yukon uses a double wall air flow system that pulls cool air from the bottom, warms it between the walls and pumps it out over the top of the fire.
How it works is simple:
1. Start a small fire in the center of the Yukon using chunk wood & your favorite tender.
2. Allow your small wood to catch creating a super hot ember bed.
3. Slowly start adding in split cord wood until the burn chamber is filled up.
4. As you start building the fire up, watch as the smoke is minimized by the double burn!
We designed the Solo Stove Ranger with travelers and city dwellers in mind. We wanted to bring a functional and practical fire pit to those who may not have the space for a large fire. More portable than ever, the Solo Stove Ranger allows you to have a clean burning fire anytime, anywhere.
From patios in urban areas to small space RVs, the Solo Stove Ranger is the fire pit solution you’ve been seeking! Standing at 12.5 inches tall and 15 inches wide the Solo Stove Ranger packs away compactly when not in use. Made with 304 stainless steel, the Solo Stove Ranger weighs in a durable but very portable 15 lbs.
The Ranger uses the same air flow system as the Yukon. It allows cool air to feed the fire at the base continuously while the double wall gets the heated air ready to burn out particles that would be smoke.
How it works is simple:
1. Set up in the center of the Ranger using your favorite fire starter & chunk wood.
2. Light it!
3. Slowly add in larger chunk wood and small logs, building the flame up.
4. Watch as the secondary burn takes over & keeps smoke low!
Feel the warmth from feet away! The Solo Stove Ranger and Yukon radiate heat outwards keeping everyone warm.
Both fire pits use the same patented design as our original Solo Stove and has way less smoke than traditional fire pits without the need for batteries or fans. Thats right! No charging required for our fire pits which means you can enjoy a low smoke fire for hours into the night.
All you do is start by lighting a small fire in the center of the fire pit. Once your kindling and tinder has caught, start adding in larger sticks and chunk wood. After you have a hot bed of embers, add in your split cord wood and watch as the mesmerizing flame takes over!
This unique flame pattern is the pre-heated oxygen burning the small particles that would have been smoke. Way more flame, way less smoke! This also helps burn your logs more thoroughly leaving only very fine ash and no unburned wood. Burning 20 pounds of wood will become about 4 ounces of ash.
This is our third campaign on Kickstarter. In 2014 Kickstarter funded our Campfire and in 2016, you were the one that brought the Bonfire to life.
