HAZEL HONEY FILMS presents Solstice, a short film based on a true story of a couple in an emotionally unhealthy relationship. Travel with them on the journey that changed their view of love, life and each other forever in just 24 hours. When bad turns to worse, what will be the outcome? How far will things have to go until someone snaps?

The Impact
Seldom are films seen that are unafraid to delve into something as frowned upon as abuse. This film needs to be seen by everyone, especially if you are single, dating, married or looking to be involved. This story shows how a relationship can go from playful verbal jabs (which most people brush off), to the unthinkable.... Learn the signs of abuse before it gets too far and know when to leave. This is only one story, but there are countless others that go untold. Let's start an open discussion about the taboo subject of abuse and make some real life changes.
What We Need & Why
This is the first film of many dealing with real life issues written by JoAnna Rhambo. It is necessary to get these stories out there so that they can perhaps be a voice for someone who otherwise couldn't or wouldn't speak up for themselves. We can not fund this film solely out of our pockets which is why we are asking for help to raise the remaining funds vital to creating a quality project. We need the help of our friends, family and others regardless of the connection to the film making community. You have the power to help get this film made.
