Overview

We are creating an Open, Social, Virtual Reality world. A world with its own economy and its own currency. A VR world with its own Marketplace, Games, Social experiences and Virtual Land ownership. A VR world which is fully interconnected and seamless. Fully accessible from any device from 2D mode on a user’s Desktop to fully immersive VR mode on a user’s Desktop or Mobile.

Risks & Challenges

We are hard at work making our Somnium Space VR world better every day! Updates are coming on a weekly basis and we listen to our community. Nevertheless as during any software development we might see slight delays in projected timeline. We try to mitigate risk by:

Growing our team very fast
Implementing key game mechanics first, in order to have baseline fundamental functionalities such as land ownership and builder tool ready first.
Making sure that our world is built optimized for all experiences from the very beginning such as Mobile VR, PC VR, Android apps etc to make sure smooth implementation later down the line.
