Somnox is a company dedicated to helping people all over the world sleep better. Based on extensive and insightful research, we offer robotic solutions that improve the well-being of users. Our mission is to defeat insomnia once and for all. Our team consists of engineers, sleep enthusiasts, researchers, marketing professionals, and experienced entrepreneurs that are passionate about sleep and technology.

Over the past 24 months, we have pored over tons of medical research and studies about the effects of breathing, audio, and affection on stress-related insomnia. From there, we set out to take this research and develop a product that would improve the lives of many. After much trial and error, we’ve arrived at a prototype that people really love. Our manufacturing partners are ready to go. All we need is your support so we can deliver sleep at your doorstep.

Question: Why should I pre-order on Indiegogo now and not wait until production is completed?

Answer: We offer a couple of advantages to those that help us realise our production line:

Question: Do you have a return policy

Answer: Yes. If you pre-order a Somnox sleep robot, you have 30 days to determine whether it works for you. If not, you can return the Somnox sleep robot and get your money back (excluding the cost of the washable sleeve).

Question: Can I test Somnox before I buy?

Answer: In the last year, we conducted many tests with test sleepers. We will continue to do this. However, at this moment, all spots are filled. If you are in the Netherlands, you can test Somnox in the Westcord Hotel in Delft.

When you pre-order Somnox, you will be able to use our 30-night return policy after we deliver the product.

Question: Is it washable?

Answer: Yes, it can be easily washed. 
The sleeve of Somnox the sleep robot can be taken off to be washed in the washing machine at a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. Ensuring a hygienic experience every single time.

Question: Does it help if I am suffering from apnea?

Answer: No, we didn’t conduct any research proving the claim on ‘fighting’ apnea. 
Somnox does use breathing as one of its core features, but not with the intention of fighting apnea.

Question: What about my partner?

Answer: You should perceive Somnox as an addition to the family, like a baby laying in between (that doesn’t cry or burp). And hey, why not have a Somnox for the both of you? Spooning together is so much fun.

We also tested Somnox with people who slept with a partner and here we got positive results as well. So Somnox is not only for singles.

Question: Does Somnox come in different sizes?

Answer: At launch, Somnox will only be available in one size. 
We have conducted many user tests with many shapes and sizes. We found one size to be ideal for most people. 
In the future, different sizes will be available as well.

Question: When do I get my sleep robot if I pre-order one on Kickstarter?

Answer: When the crowdfunding campaign is a success, we will start to set up our production line and manufacture Somnox. We estimate that this will take 6-9 months.

If you want to give Somnox as a gift before this time, for example for Christmas, we offer a gift edition that includes a voucher so you don’t end up with empty hands.
