Who are we ?

Poly is an outrageously french freelance artist/animator, and Luby is a outstandingly british History graduate. We met on deviantArt aeons ago in the Dragon Age fandom, and we've navigated fandoms together since then. It was only natural that we'd simultaneously fall in love with the Golden Deer and Claude in particular.
The project
We planned 50 full color pages of Claude & Byleth content. Some you may already find online on our blogs, some will be exclusive to this fanzine! There will be both illustrations and short comics. It will be bisexual shipping, meaning there will be material for both Male and Female Byleth ; Luby will handle the girl side and Poly the guy side. The content will roughly follow the game's storyline without retelling it whole - some comics will be serious, some funny, some angsty.

Where the money goes :
- Book printing : We want good color quality and it doesn't come cheap! But the result will be worth it!
- Goodies production : We got quality stickers & buttons from StickerMule ! They're just gorgeous.
- Shipping : French post can be quite expensive especially when it comes to international - even with a professional discount. Also we want to make sure the book is well protected so we invest in good cardboard envelopes and wraps!
- IndieGoGo is a direct bank transfer so thankfully we don't go through another Paypal tax, however since we're Europe based their transfer fees are a bit higher for non-US residents.
- French taxes : As a freelance artist Poly needs to refer to the French state for all professional graphic activity, this is a pain but it also ensures your purchase is protected via official traces.
- Poly & Luby profits : After all taxes are due, money will be fairly split between both artists. Any leftover stock will be available online and on conventions booth, and if sold, further profit generated from this will also be fairly shared.

The fanzine's content is around 75% done, we still need to finish some of the exclusive comic pages and polish the existing ones. After that we'll have to wait for IndieGoGo to transfer your funds to us, in the meantime we'll plan the book layout to have the best render on paper. Then we'll send it to the printer, that usually takes less than a month to produce. Then it's grand shipping time!
