Overview
This past year has everyone longing for an escape and this film for everyone who holds onto their childhood dreams. This project represents everything the crew has gained in film school from our storytelling and technical knowledge to the connections we have built with each other.
The Story
The script for Starling has already earned 5 Official Selection designations, including Finalist recognition and a Winning placement, at Film Festivals across the world with more hopefully on the way.
Cierra lives a mundane life as an intern at a Hollywood tabloid magazine. Awkward and lacking confidence in herself, she battles addiction with various substances. Her newest fixation, a new drug named Chronicle, lets her live out her childhood dream of being a superstar actor. As her dependency worsens, a new connection makes her question if her actual life is really that awful.
How You Can Help
With a project as ambitious as Starling, having a little extra help can go a long way. Our biggest concern, of course, is safety and your contribution will help us ensure the cast and crew remain happy and healthy with secure locations and proper protective equipment.
In addition, funds will also be used to bring life to the fantastic Chronicle World through creative visuals and elegant art pieces. The chart below breaks down the financing goals for this project.
