Where Do Funds Go?
We have the passion, the skill, and the vision... but that only takes us so far. Without your help we can't produce a successful, clean film. Here's what funds will be used for:
- Equipment & gear - we'll be shooting handheld, so a rig will be needed in order to deliver a smooth image. And let's not forget about lenses, lighting, and a generator for our location out in the country!
- Production design - we're going to have to acquire a spider (and trainer!) along with prop weapons to ensure our actors are safe
- Food - we have a team of about twenty in our cast and crew. Without healthy food to munch on, energy goes down, productivity decays, and the result is a sloppy film. Plus you don't want to see Susie cranky.
- Transportation - since we'll be shooting in Seguin, TX (an hour outside of Austin) for three days, gas will add up for cast and crew, not to mention transportation of equipment.
- Festivals - we need your help to cover fees when we bring SUSIE to more audiences!
How We Thank You
We can't get this film off the ground without you. To show you our gratitude, our perks include shout outs, production stills, film credits, a copy of the film, and shirts!

Risks & Challenges
Our team has been workshopping this script since September in order to deliver an authentic story. We're relying on equipment from UT Austin's RTF department for most of our technical needs, but everything else we're paying for out of pocket. We're doing our best to bring Susie to life with what we have - we won't see any funds until our campaign closes.
Susie is ready to show everyone what she's made of! Will you help her get there?
