How we came to be
Ever since I was old enough to handle a pair of scissors, I would cut up pictures from various magazines and glue them to the backs of 3x5 cards, then trade them to the other kids for whatever they hand on hand. Eventually all the other kids started bringing their own “trading cards” to swap and soon, we had our own little marketplace.
Every Sunday after church we’d run to our corner and empty our book bags of our adolescent handiwork, and do everything we could to ride home with the best pick, determined to do better next week. That idea stuck and continued to grow with me as I became older; the concept that we could get things without spending any money fascinated me and all we had to do was know the right people.
Fast forward 13 years and here I am still believing in the limitless possibilities of networking, the endless opportunities of sharing and the invaluable measure of my time. In the past 7 of those 13 years I’ve envisioned an idea. An idea that’s turned concept, then turned plan. It’s what we post so often about and the result of all our desires to become financially independent, amass and international network and ultimately create a company that harnesses the intrigue of the kid inside all of us that wants anything to be possible. Being open to the endless horizon of opportunity ISN'T just a kid thing, it's a human thing and we have have to be bold enough to protect it.
Now? The concept has developed roots and become a team of four talented entrepreneurs. In the last year we've developed our application, grown an online following and have been featured in 2 tech magazines and over 5 online publications, in addition to being on iHeart Radio, winning 3 industry awards and raising a successful friends and family round of funding.
What we're looking for
Currently, were finishing up our final touches to the app, where users can not only trade but also learn about trading; absolutely free. In order to roll it out however, we're going to need some help. Support from the online community would prove immensely helpful and allow us to launch this amazing tool both effectively and sustainably. We are looking to raise $300,000 which would give us the ability to pay for marketing and server fees, continue our AI development and pay for the proper site security.
