Why we need you.

You can help us get there. The UTEST program, MaRS Innovation and The Next 36 have provided some funding to get us started, but we need your help.

We have a software developer we'd like to hire to speed up our development.   We'd like to round out our beta with different types of shots (we've prototyped jump shots and free throws) and finish up the phone app. Our campaign goal is $10,000 to help complete this development. 

Backstory

Our founders sucked at sports. We just want to have fun playing.  We think athletic ability is about more than just innate skill. So we built a device that takes advantage of wearables sensors, pulls some really cool data and makes the information that coaches have, available to anyone.

We met Ben Gordon on a trip to Orlando to show our technology to NBA teams.  He poker faced us at dinner.  But we got a text after dinner.  He was interested.  We've been working with Ben for months, getting product advice, marketing advice,  midnight FaceTime calls and even time on the court with the man himself.

Making a quality app is nothing new for us. We’ve all been founders before and published several apps between us.

Behind every great app are greater challenges. Getting shot recognition with the mediocre sensors in wearables wasn't easy; bugs still do come up. We’re dealing with a lot of moving parts from research, design, and development to usability and more. There are always setbacks when developing technology. One of the risks we foresee is meeting our delivery date to the App store (November 2015).

We will keep our backers up to date with our progress and let you know if we encounter any setbacks.
