Thanks to you we have reached our goal! We now have funds to start our catering service!

Our stretch goal is to get a vehicle for delivering food. We will need your help to fund it - its type and quality will depend on the amount of funds you help us raise! Take a look on the options we had in mind:

Hi, we are the Taste of Home !

We are a group of individuals of all ages and backgrounds brought together by a common interest in food and cooking. We come from countries like Syria, Senegal, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Croatia, etc.

Our efforts help refugees and migrants earn a living and become settled here in Croatia.  Through culinary and cultural exchange they learn new skills, make friends, and become part of the local culture.  We want to expand our program to include a catering business specialising in African, Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine and need your help to bring this project to life.

We need to raise 15.000 Euros ( around 17,000 US Dollars) to rent our own kitchen space and to buy the basic kitchen apliances and other things needed to start a catering business. Because of that we are turning to our strongest supporters to ask for contributions. In exchange, we're offering a choice of perks which we're sure, you'll like.

Your contribution will help us to rent our own kitchen and buy things like refrigerators, cookers, blenders, pots, pans - basically everything we need to start cooking.

To be more specific:

• with $ 8000 we can rent our own kitchen space for 6 months

• $ 3000 will buy us two range cookers

• $ 2000 will get us two combined freezers/refrigerators

• $ 250 will provide us with 2 good quality large cooking pots

• $ 300 will buy us two blenders...

• remaining $3500 will enable us to get initial food ingredients and spices, delivery containers, serving plates and all other bits and pieces needed to run a kitchen

Stretch goal!

If we can go beyond our $17,000 target we would like to buy a second-hand vehicle which will cost about $10,000. It will allow us to make more cost efficient deliveries.
