Water has many digestive, health and weight-loss benefits. However, without properly filtered water, you are allowing natural toxins into your and your loved one's body. The Smart Faucet eliminates 99% of all contaminants.

Connects to the Tern Service app, with real-time water analysis for water consumption and  filter quality that is personalized for you and your family.  

With the flip-of-a-switch (literally) you can go between three different options: filtered, unfiltered regular and unfiltered spray water. Cleaning your dishes and grabbing a safe glass of water will never need a separate system again!

The simple design allows the faucet to attach effortlessly, to any sink, for easy access to safe and sustainable drinking water. 

The Tern App connects directly to your filter, and will send an automatic alert to us when a new filter is needed. In the next few days, you will receive a new filter; no calls, no in-store pickups, no hassle!

5% of our proceeds will go to at risk communities for safe water. Our first project will be to work with Flint, Michigan. 

A simple four step process

The app will monitor filter status, real time water usage and record water quality. By syncing the filter to the app, Tern will be alerted, automatically, when your smart faucet needs a new filter.

Know Your Water is an on-demand tap water test. Here at Tern, we test for pH, total dissolved solids, lead, chromium-6, chlorine, fluoride, and total hardness, for every Know Your Water kit.

Water bottles are an easy source of water, BUT at what cost? Plastic bottles have detrimental effects on the environment and your wallet.

Our Mission and Vision

So, where did Tern all begin? After years of studying, traveling and working around the world, the founder and CEO of Tern, Mo Zerban, noticed a universal problem: Not everyone has easy access to safe and sustainable water.

Thus, Tern was born, with one mission; empower people to obtain the best water possible, by providing them with the information and tools needed to ensure they have sustainable and safe water, wherever and whenever they would like. 

Our Vision was to develop an impactful product that would innovate the water experience, with an integrated technology component. The Tern Smart Faucet is the first product that delivers on our mission to ensure safe, sustainable water for all. Creating products and services with the user at the center of the experience is our top criteria for product development.  Based on continuous user research and demos, we have created the Smart Faucet through a series of prototypes.
