We are raising extra funds for the additional shooting expenses of the second film.
Call us crazy, but we’re doing it. Our goal is to produce two different moves from one script, one budget, and one production. The movies are titled Axes and Os and Valentines Lake.
THE TWO MOVIES
Axes and Os - horror / slasher / scifi
Four females on a weekend getaway are hunted by a legendary ax murderer, until the hunter becomes the prey when one female turns out to be something otherworldly.
Valentines Lake - thriller / suspense / scifi
Four females on a weekend getaway are pursued by a local cult as they attempt to escape before succumbing to the sacrificial fate of the town’s large marine creature.
Both movies are very similar in story structure and character development, but have a different thematic elements. The process involves shooting additional scenes for the second movie that can be edited with the footage from the first. That's where we need your help!

- The additional funding will be used to pay cast and crew, purchase meals, visual effects, wardrobe, props and more.
- Filming will be in late June in Orlando, FL.
Leah, Olivia, Abby, and Dawn escape to a secluded cabin for a relaxing Galentine's weekend. When Dawn goes missing, the ladies soon find out they are being hunted by legendary axe murderer Luther Dremel, who will stop at nothing to satisfy his lust for killing. The tables are turned when Olivia completes her transformation into something otherworldly to battle the famed Axeman!

Plot: Valentines Lake
Leah, Olivia, Abby, and Dawn escape to a secluded cabin on the lake for a relaxing Galentine’s weekend. However, when Dawn goes missing and Olivia becomes ill, the ladies soon find out they are being pursued by the town's cult, intent on capturing them. The ladies must fight to survive before they can be captured and sacrificed to the ancient Oligochen lake monster.

Trent Duncan - Writer / Director / Producer
The script is written by filmmaker Trent Duncan, who is most notably known for his Epic Horror Battles on YouTube. With over 250 thousand subscribers and over 70 million views on his channel, Trent's horror battles feature the best of all your favorite old-school horror characters. Trent has the skill set to pull off a 2 feature production and make it look great!
Joseph O'Connor - Director / Producer
As an Actor and Producer, Joe has immersed himself in a variety of short and feature length productions. Joe's skillset involves "making it happen", which is of vast importance on any film set. Joe will also be helping to co-direct the films.
Danielle J. Bowman - Producer
Award winning SAG-eligible Actress who also regularly works the other side of the camera and has been a part of over 60 films, series and commercials. Danielle is known for running a highly organized and efficient production. The task of shooting two films at once requires someone of her skillset.

THE 2 PRODUCTION PROCESS
While writing Axes and Os, Trent and Joe realized there was a second movie that could be written instead. Rather than throwing that idea aside, they decided to incorporate the two ideas together. Trent used the foundational story elements of Axes and Os to write and develop Valentines Lake.
The storyline of Axes and Os revolves around a deranged Axeman hunting and killing a group of friends at a cabin in the woods. So, to incorporate the theme of Valentines Lake, the Axeman captures the women rather than killing them. The ladies are then offered up as a sacrifice in order to keep the ancient Oligochen lake monster in slumber for another cycle.

COMPLETION
