The Amelia Project Audio Advent Calendar - What is it?

Here at The Amelia Project we are bananas about advent calendars. One door to open every day, the daily little treat, the surprise...

Which is why we thought:

Wouldn't it be cool if this December, we appeared on your podcast feed every single day with a surprise dispatch from your favourite death fakers? 

We want to create 25 minisodes, a month of choc-a-bloc Amelia content that chronicles life at the Amelia offices in the run-up to Christmas. There will be deadly Mistletoe, a visit from Saint Nick (or Krampus?) a snowman nativity scene, and of course lots of festive cocoa! 

Hold on! The Amelia Project? You're some kind of death faking agency? 

Yes.

Or rather, a fiction podcast about a death faking agency. And about cocoa. 

We tell stories about an eclectic range of clients who want to disappear and start over with a brand new identity. 

The regular podcast focuses on clients and cases, the Audio Advent Calendar on the other hand, will focus more on daily office life, the things that happen between the cases. 

You don't have to be caught up with the podcast to enjoy the Advent Calendar! As a new listener it will serve as a great introduction to the show, but as a longtime listener you will learn so much more about the characters and what happens when the clients leave the room. 

Why Indiegogo? 

Writing, recording, editing, designing, composing... Making twenty five minisodes is going to take a lot of work! 

We fund the regular show through Patreon, but we want to make this Audio Advent Calendar in addition to the regular show. So that's why we're asking for extra help. 

Stretch goals...

• If we reach 100% of our Indiegogo goal we can make the Audio Advent Calendar! 
• If we reach 120%  we commit to bringing forward Season 5 in early September!!!

• If we reach 140% we commit to making an additional full length bonus episode called Alvina's First Christmas which we will make available to every single backer, regardless of the amount you pledged!

• All additional funds will be used to put extra sparkles on the calendar and allows us to pay our team more for their hard work!
