THE TEAM
The Director
Growing up in Northern California,
Tyler Bolinger (27) passionately studied movies, performed in plays and didn’t
make basketball teams. He graduated from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University in 2011. Determined to follow in the footsteps of cinematic
idols, Tyler is thrilled to be making THE EXCLUSIVE his writing and directing
debut.
The Producer
Born and raised in Roslyn, New York, Joseph Gabay (25) grew up working on and around professional film sets. This year Joseph made
his above-the-line feature debut as Associate Producer on BONE
TOMAHAWK (2015), a micro-budget horror/western starring Kurt Russell,
Richard Jenkins, Patrick Wilson & Matthew Fox. Currently, Joseph is
Director's Assistant to James Foley (HOUSE OF CARDS), on the upcoming Universal
Pictures' blockbuster, FIFTY SHADES OF GREY (PART II & III).
The Actress, Melanie Carter
A native of New York, Emily Kretzer
(23) is no stranger to the camera. Using big dreams to fuel her ambitions,
Emily thrives as a Los Angeles-based model, invigorated by artistic expression.
Also a film student deeply passionate about cinema, Emily is ready to
empower her movie star performance with all the glory and anguish of
living in the spotlight.
The Photographer, Scotty
At an early age, living by the San
Francisco Bay, Alex Kurnow (26) fell in love with acting through theater,
leading him to commercial work. After taking his passion to Southern
California and graduating from Chapman University with a BFA in Screen Acting,
Alex landed his feature film debut as Max in THE NEWEST PLEDGE (2012). Alex is
eager to explore the paparazzi underworld, and tackle such a divisive character
as Scotty.
The Cinematographer
Growing up in Los Angeles, Timothy Gerald (25) has always felt close to movies. His technical skills and
dedication to the craft have helped him carve-out a career path working
behind the camera, and designing motion graphics for
over 40 various films, TV shows and music videos. Tim enjoys working with a
director, translating the script into visuals that, along with camera movement and lighting, tell the story precisely. He most recently wrapped
shooting a successfully crowd-funded short, and strives to continue evolving as
a cinematographer and visual artist.
The Composer
Born and raised in working-class neighborhoods on the
outskirts of Detroit, Michigan; Matt Akers (31) now lives in Washington where
he writes and records atmospheric and evocative electronic music. With 12
releases to his name, Matt is an obsessive movie fan, influenced by dark
synthetic soundtracks, Italo-Disco, Koshmische, and ambient textures. Matt will
play an integral part of the production, working in the tradition of great
composer-director collaborations of movies past.
