Recently, while lecturing in Iquitos, Peru, author David Jay Brown fell in love with a Peruvian widow, Maria Teresa Gutierrez Macanilla. They plan to marry. Costly steps have to occur for Maria Teresa and her young son to move to the USA., i.e. visas for both Maria Teresa and her son for which they will need to fly to Lima then return to Iquitos to wait for them. Then, flights to the USA. Also, David is searching for a larger home for them all as his little apartment will not suffice. Quite a costly venture as well, especially in California! All in all, between Davids royalties and teachers salary, and Maria Teresa's massage therapist income, they are having a difficult time making this happen on their own. Meanwhile, their hearts are aching at the separation following David's departure from Peru. Please consider giving your wedding gifts early to bring these lovebirds together! Thank you so much...for believing in love!!

About Maria Teresa Gutierrez Manacilla: Maria Teresa lives in Iquitos, Peru and is a massage therapist. She lives with and takes care of her mother, who currently has cancer, her younger brother, and her young son. Maria Teresa was widowed a couple of years ago, leaving her with a young son to fend for. She studied massage therapy and moved back in with her family.
It must be said that both Maria Teresa and David have hearts of gold and deserve to be together. I witnessed their meeting and budding courtship. Eventually, they were inseparable! Hence, I took it upon myself, with their permission, to create this site to assist in bringing them back together, as soon as possible. Humbly, I thank you....and I know, that they will, too. For each of you who contributes to their marriage by sending in early wedding gifts, I am certain they will send you a card brimming with love, as well as a photograph of the happy family, all together in the USA!!!
With deepest gratitude,
Patrice
