I am David Salazar. I am a New Orleans transplant from Austin, TX posting on behalf of myself and the New Orleans Burning Community,

We here in NOLA would love to bring back our community and art to Flipside this year in the form of a Large-scale monster straight from the swamp! 

The MECHA-GATOR is interactive flame effect sculpture that is community operated! it is made from all recycled materials and is nice and blinky!!

Please help us raise funds to bring this project to Flipside 2014!!!!
We are hoping to raise $1600 to cover the cost of transportation to the event and propane for the effect for the entirety of the event,

Our project is already built and ready to go barring these costs.

In addition to good karma and love from the team, we are offering some awesome incentives that include custom hand-molded mardi gras medallions in the shape of the mecha-gator and some awesome buttons!
I personally think this project is fantastic, in that, it brings two amazing burning communities together to celebrate art!
