Olivia’s senior year of high school is starting off perfect. She is head cheerleader, dating the star quarterback, smart, beautiful, and queen bee of her social circle. Olivia’s life is suddenly flipped upside down when her troubled sister, Cecelia, mysteriously disappears from their home one night. Olivia was Cecelia’s only friend and confidant, so why would she choose to leave? Throughout the pilot episode, Olivia attempts to put the puzzle pieces together to make sense of her now extraordinary life. She is faced with the choice to continue to trust her, once stable, family or turn her back on them forever.
Directed by Celeste Maldonado-Green, writer and director of “Wasted Talent” and created by Taylor Biechy, creator and cinematographer of We Fall. We Dance. We Rise. The Nameless is a murder mystery pilot episode set to be filmed in the summer of 2021. This project will involve cast and crew from in and around the Lehigh Valley as well as highlighting some local unique locations around the area.
With a budget of $10,000, we will be able to put a lot of focus on higher-end equipment, props, locations, wardrobe, and paying cast and crew for their time and efforts on set. Don’t worry, there is something in it for you too! There are lots of awesome perks you can check out for contributing such as BTS photos, a digital copy of the pilot, a signed poster and script, and Executive Producer credits! Although this project will still be made possible with a lower budget the more we can raise means the more we can put towards our teams to ensure a cinematic and organic look to the film.
Why is this pilot important you may ask? Good question! This pilot is one of the very first projects for a new production company called Kiss the Girl Productions LLC. This company focuses on filming in and around areas that are beautiful and somewhat undiscovered. This project will also bring some amazing actors to the screen both new and seasoned and bring on a crew of experienced filmmakers that will also be working with some more inexperienced filmmakers to ensure they get the experience and guidance they need.
Of course, with every new and ambitious project comes plenty of risks. Let us assure you that our team is ready to take on anything that may come. Several members of our team have worked on various projects throughout the pandemic not only organizing safe and professional shoots but also pulling through with final projects even when things get rough. Our team is dedicated to making sure that this project is given the attention and time that it deserves to be the best that it can possibly be to set us up for a fantastic first season.
